    Yes no yes?

Effectively the same as drink driving, but not as severe. Ok, your stoned you drive you do not go from kerb to kerb, your reaction times are reduced and you are still a danger on the road. I would think that drink driving, or being extremely tired would be more dangerous. My opinion of course.

Also known as Drugged-Driving, it carries as much penalty as Drink Driving afaik. Marijuana can impair your focus and can definitely impair your reaction times and motor function. No, I don't think I would feel comfortable driving stoned.

    Have i? Yes.

but my unusual incapicity to get stoned stopped me bothering to smoke that sh!t anymore

Are there any figures available for peoples age in realtion to driving and smoking at the same time?
I'd be interested to see if when and if the figures increase and drop according to age.

I remember one night last year my friend had to drive a load of us home after getting extremely stoned down some beach. The drive up the shítty boreen was fairly frightening when I realised that I was basically unable to see anything except vague shapes and colours and maybe my pal was feeling the same way. But the driver saying "Man, I'm really, really seriously stoned. But it's okay, I'm alright if I drive really fast" was more so frightening.

Then we went to the shop and I discovered that they had brought back Wispas, which was nice.

A single post? Is the OP yet another column reporter writing a story on the drug culture of the youth of today?
    It's shocking so 'tis.

If one is sitting inside, steering a lump of metal and plastic as it hurtles down a road at 60 mph, it is wise to remain sober.

"Perhaps most importantly, officers are instructed to pay attention for "herb-like smells" during the tests."

Smell of rosemary off your man, right book him. :P

I rather drive with a stoned person than a drunk person... by a long shot.

EDIT: Me being the passanger I mean.

have seen some online on the medical bureau of road safety, they did a survey back in 2004, also some figures avail from hibernian insurance.

I can't drive, but I'd happily get behind the wheel and just go "VROOOOM VROOOOM" for a while if I was stoned, I'd say that'd be class

My friends went hot boxing a few weeks ago and decided it would be a good idea to turn off the lights driving down a foggy country road so the cops wouldn't see them...
