    Overall I think Eoghan was the worst tonight. But there's no way he'll be voted off so hopefully JLS will go.

    If there's any justice, Ruth and Alex will be in the final.

    Isn't the point to make the song suit your voice which she did and she didn't stick closely to the original version which i hate.

    Laura probably had the best voice in the competiton, but she was impossible to understand - most of the time it was like listening to someone singing in another language.

    My 2 cents..

    JLS - sub-standard fare from them. They're not the super-group some people are saying they are. They're distinctly average and both of tonight's songs proved that. Baby One More Time was horrible, and the Whitney Houston was playing it faaaar too safe (wasn't too impressed with that).

    Alex - best performer of the night by a mile. Amazing voice.. that I never really took notice of until Toxic. She belted that out superbly. Second song was very good too.

    Ruth - really not as impressed with Ruth as others seem to be. She's a very strong voice but she probably somewhat over-uses it and yells more often that not. Look at 'Always' by Bon Jovi - the perfect song for her but this screeching has to stop.

    Eoghan - christ, it was horrendous for him. To be fair, the Britney song wasn't really his fault but the High School Musical one (though it was all a bit light, fluffy and fun) was cringe-inducing. He could be out tonight.

    Diana - same crap, different week. She murdered an REM classic, and the 'Not A Girl, Not Yet a Woman' was unrecognizable and her vocal range was all over the place. There is putting your own spin on something.. and then there's just taking a song and ruining it. She's more often that not guilty of the latter.

    I'd say Eoghan and JLS or Diana in the bottom two.. with Eoghan to go.

    PS - anyone else notice Dermot forgot to mention to vote for Diana after Miley Cyrus (shocking lip-synching by her.. was hoping it'd go back to the judges - but they'd just lick her arse anyways)? He said "Miley isn't in the competition... but JLS, Ruth, Alexandra and Eoghan are" - rewound it on Sky and he definitely did! ;)

    Completely agree. However, I think Simon Cowell is looking for an act that will be on a par with the Miley Cyrus/High School Musical crap that the is so popular at the moment. Eoghan fits that, hence all the praise despite some very questionable performances.

    There's no bottom two, solely down to the public vote now. That being said, I would tend to agree that JLS are finished; I'd like to think Diana and Eoghan are in trouble but their fan base will infuriatingly see them through.

    Yep, completely agree with that.

    Alexandra deserves it on sheer talent alone, but I still think Eoghan will win it.
