Was this posted before or is it another similar incident ?

As my dad always said - "You need a license to keep a dog but any cunt can have a child"

I know. I was thinking about this poor little soul on the way to work.. I saw his beautiful face in the paper and nearly started crying.

It's just so so evil and sick. Jamie Bolger's death really affected me and this is along the same lines. Just incomprehensible.

I know this sounds bad - but im glad the child is at least out of his misery now. The poor pet.

There are people out there who cant have children and who would do anything to have a beautiful child like P. And look what they did. Its just horrendous.

Having kids and abusing them is the only thing a lot of these dole-scrounging bastards are any good at.

I think its only fair people should be allowed to bid for these scumbags on ebay. Then the winner gets to take them home and brutally torture them for several months before burying them alive!!!

Here we go, keyboard warriors try and outdo eachother in inventing inhumane and sadistic punishment in due to their disgust at other peoples inhumane and sadistic acts.

And not once will they consider the irony of their drivel.

In Roman times, a person who commited a crime like this would be tied into a large canvas bag with a wild animal, and thrown into a river.

That story is horrific, I cant even bring myself to read the details of it I had to turn off the news last night when i was watching ,how anyone could do things like that to a tiny helpless baby I cant even begin to fathom, utterly utterly disguting. There is no sentence in this case that would leave me with a sense that justice has been done, not the death penalty not even torturing the three for the rest fo their lives would make me feel any justice can be served here.

Did I read or imagine that Social Services actually wanted her to have custody of her new baby?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,119 ✭✭✭Wagon

    *insert outrage here*

Is anyone actually suprised? There's one of these stories every week. Will the people responsable he given a death sentence? Nope, they get to live in prison not giving a **** while the tax payer supports them. Congratulations, the legal system fails again.

Yeah I missed it on first read through. I was shocked when I saw it second time around -
She also gave birth to another child in prison wherein the Haringey Social Services wanted to allow her to keep the child

Turns out she has other kids as well ... jesus.

Maybe if the punishment fitted the crime "people" would be less inclined to commit cowardly acts like this.
    Whats your solution,hotshot?

thelordofcheese, if it was your child that this monster was abusing, I could see your attitude turning a swift 180 .... !

That poor baby isn't the first to suffer like that and he won't be the last.
Nothing can be done to help him now but a donation to ISPCC or childline would help the many children living with abuse in Ireland.

Yeah, that's exactly it. I'm pretty sure no matter how much the punishment fitted the crime this would still have happened.

Do you honestly think people like this sit down and work out what the punishment will be and if it looks like it'd be 'light' decide to torture a small child?

    Really?

Not one that'd appease you, seeing as i'm not stupid enough to think that letting a mob of internet strongmen devise tortures is anything more that impotent rage.
Nor do i confuse justice with revenge.

Are you done being a low grade rabble rouser or are you going to try and tell me you have something useful to say?

I know your not asking me this, but just a simple lethal injection sorts it out.

    What do you suggest then?
Cups of tea and a stern talking too?
Maybe a question and answer session where the criminals can blame thier acts on a bad childhood?
Whether or not is suits your world view, people like this deserve to be punished properly.Call it vengeance if you will,a sustained bout of torture followed by a public hanging would 'appease' the right-thinking majority in this case.

Indeed, showing their level of competence is consistent if nothing else. So far none of them have been disciplined with regards to the case. Presumably if they're caught making stupid phonecalls, it'll be just the excuse needed to have a lynch mob out for them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,102 ✭✭✭✭Kintarō Hattori

It really is a shocking story, it's incomprehensible that anyone could be that cruel to a child. As pointed out by other posters it's shocking that social services wanted to let her keep her newborn.

I don't see the relevance of mentioning that.

What irony? It would only really be ironic if i turned out that said poster actually currently carried out similar acts of torture on a living thing.

Until then it's just moral outrage.

    Ohh please

That's pathetic, even by your low standards.

Anyone who points out the obvious fucking flaw in letting a mob of random people decide what punishments suit a crime is therefore advocating some kind of crazy parody of psychiatric treatment?

How do you even funtion in the real world when your ability to think is so clearly broken?

And "right-thinking majority" how very clichéd. If you can't actually back up your viewpoint with anything other than outrage, try and convince people that you speak for everyone and that therefore you're right.
Argumentum ad populum at it's least subtle.

I'm outraged at this act and anyone who would do it is wrong and to prove it i'm going to invent a punishment that is equally as violent because i'm ANGRY.

yeah, i'm pretty sure there is nothing even slightly ironic or hypocritical about this at all.

Can't we have one thread about something like this that DOESN'T turn into a littany of people being retarded in this fashion?
    Please, just once?

I know it's AH and all but i think we should be able to do this.
