I knew some people would insecure enough to bring up the fact that they have a girlfriend. In fact I even said it to my girlfriend as soon as I saw square_igloo's post. You can ask my girlfriend if you don't believe me.

I've had my suspicions about most of them for a while now, tbh.

Well some of them were fairly obvious. COUGH *javaboy* COUGH.

Surprised about dr.bollocko though! Didn't think he was ever one to "take it up the lavender passageway" ,as Stephen Fry would put it.

I heard he is fond of the occasional Glasnevin Gaspipe.

**** I didn't expect anyone to call me out on this. It's um... 087.... hang on... I know this. There's a 6 in there somewhere. Eh. Um. I don't actually have the number handy. And she's gone home now. And she's no home phone so there's no way to confirm my story.

    Hey look over there. Suckers.

Man I have to get a girlfriend/russian bride.:(

I use predictive text. Used to hate it but I can't stand using normal texts now! :D

EDIT: No, I don't think that non-predictive texters are sucmbags.

...but 'txt spk' irritates me something awful, (even in texts :P )!!

I do use it. Took my husband a while to convince me that it's faster. Now I'm a genius. I should be on a talent show. I can do it without looking...honest to fcuk! I do have to check before I send though. I often politely stare at someone when I'm supposed to be listening to them and my finger's going ninety the whole time. Just tested myself there. Tried to text the following sentence. This is a check text to see how I get on. What I ended up getting was This is a check text to pee gow 4 get on. Not bad wha?!:D

I love using it, and like getting messages from people who do use it cos txspk is indecipherable! To that end, I avoid texting Cian and Clare...

I really do have contempt for people who don't. Though that might just be contempt for spelling stuff so badly, I can't be sure. Sometimes it's funny how shocked you are when you find out someone uses non-predictive as it's usually so ****ing obvious.

The media/teachers/lecturers are always complaining that texting is destroying people's ability to spell, if everyone used predictive it may even improve it.

I think I'd punish a child of mine if I caught them using non-predictive text, Thoughh by the time I have a kid who uses a mobile there'll probably be telepathic texts and predictive phone calls.

No, and I don't use txt spk. And I ****ing hate - hate - it.

The times I have used it (on other people's phones), I would spend more time cycling through various words trying to find the one I need (or manually inputting it) than actually typing out the text.
    Predictive my arse.

People not using predictive text is the equivilant of old people not using "them computer things" because they're too used to life without them

I don't have a problem with people not using it, but I really think it's a matter of people being too afraid/not bothered to learn something that in the long run would make life slightly easier for them and would be very likely to improve the presentation of their texts, because they're too used to an outdated method.
