Subscribing to boards

Do u subscribe to boards? If you do, why? And if you dont and you are a regular user, why not?

I do because I have gotten a fair bit from this site. If i could put money directly on the bedside table of the admins I'd do that too!

Lack of monies is ze problem.

As far as I know, the main benefits are getting a customised avatar, being able to change your name, and access forums like Sex and Sexuality.

No, its optional and the admins have never pushed anyone to give. Despite that many regular users still subscribe because they want to give something back.

At the risk of taking down the tone of AH.....me thinks Bijoux is a cool username.

I don't subscribe because I think access to SandS might scar my innocent little mind for life and I mind my 50 euro notes. At least for the time being.

Yes, there are benefits to subscribing. But I prefer enjoying the main benefit of non-subscribing - not having to pay for a subscription.

Having said that, I've thought about it and might do at some point. (Custom avatar would be nice....)
