Sort of, it is really the ratio of size increase. So the grower could be huge and get twice as big, the shower could be tiny and get no bigger.

Depends on your definition of average, the way you could determine grower or shower would be if they are above or below average, and therefore the average is on the borderline. So by definition 50% should be grower & 50% shower.

But there could be more on one side, the average erect is now generally accepted as 5" and flaccid I think is 3.5". But more men are below average than above, i.e. 3 guys, 2 are 4", 1 is 7", average is 5". Some may have heard of 6" being average, and it is if you let men measure themselves and tell you the result, i.e. they lie, and that study that got 6" average allowed self measurement. Other studies were measured by doctors or nurses but on a volunteer basis, no 2" guy is going to turn up to be humiliated/embarrassed in front of a female nurse! while the tommy lees out there would be itching to show it off. The 5" is possibly still too high for this reason.

It would also depend on the climate and race. In a cold climate you should have more growers due to shrinkage. Erectile tissue will contract to reduce its surface area and therefore hold in heat better, i.e. less surface area for heat to escape, like cold nipples. In warmer climates the opposite happens, and races can evolve that way. So blacks would be more showers than growers, due to evolving in warm climates. During the slave trade era the biggest strongest men would have been taken from africa, having higher testosterone etc they were already bigger than average, they were often traded naked, and this coupled with the fact they were showers sparked the myth of all blacks being hung like horses, i.e. the white traders would think all races "grew" the same amount and therefore they must get absolutely huge.
