How well do members of Non-National groups get on?

I dont know many foreigners, but I know a Swiss guy who hates Germans. We were in a bar once and the Swiss guy went to the jacks, when he came back the German was sitting in his seat, the Swiss guy says to the German "First you invade Poland, then you rob my ****ing seat, now get the **** up"

I know a group of Russians and Estonians and they hate each other and dont get on one bit

Don't know where you gettin' these ideas about the Germans being hated by the Poles and the Swiss and whatnot. Maybe they are, I don't know. But a story like a German sittin' on a Swiss guys seat and the Swiss guy saying WWII stuff sounds bit like 'the Sun' fueled fantasies to me.

Where do I get this idea from? Well, I'm German and I've come around a bit and I live here for a good few years now and I have never experienced anything like that. Probably means they're all doing it behind my back :eek:

I work with people from all sorts of countries and we're all getting along quite nicely. Must be an education thing. Oh and I don't hang out with other Germans or continentals. I hang out with people I like whereever they're from, most of them happen to be Irish. I play golf with a Czech fella and footie with a couple of Polish lads. We don't seem to hate each other but we don't hang out together because we're all 'not from here' either.
