My sister is 14 and I find her really annoying most of the time, because I can see all my worst traits and personality flaws in her. I feel really guilty when she's nice to me though, like if i'm sick she'll do anything for me, but if it were in reverse i wouldn't really care. We only really talk if we have to and I doubt I'd ever talk to her if we lived seperately.

My sister is 16, (I'm 18) and to be honest we really dont get on too well. We're into way too different things to have anything major in common, like id listen to some Emperor* or something she'd be swooning over Chris Brown.

That said we get on when it matters.

*Just an example, I am in fact not a goth :D

I get on really well with my brother (older by four years). He has hospitalised me 2/3 times (no joke) and I've kicked him so hard in the nads he has pissed blood and missed a week of school but that aside we get on great. If anything it has made us respect eachother more...

We're both completely tapped in the head which helps...

I'm the oldest of 3 - I'm 24, my brother is 21 and my sister is 15. I don't really get on with my brother, we have absolutely nothing in common. He's a 4th year carpentry apprentice, obnoxious as hell and incredibly argumentative. I'm a final year Comp Sci student and am incredibly nerdy and pretty quiet. I get on better with my sister, but again we are very, very different.

I get on alright with my siblings. I'm the youngest of 3 with 2 older sisters (25 and 22 and I'm 19).

I get on grand with my eldest sister since she moved out, she used to drive us all mad at home and can be a bit crazy selfish and stuff.

With my other sister we don't really have anything in common and don't really talk that much. She's away for the year since the start of september and i think i've spoken to her twice and that was her asking me to send stuff over.

We wouldn't really be the type of sisters to be best friends or have girly chats or anything. My life is my life and their lives are theirs really. Ah well. Might change as we get a bit older!

I've two brothers and two sisters, all a lot older than me. One of my brothers and one of my sisters are very like me. We have the same sense of humour. The other two are a lot quieter but I get on with them just as well just in a different way.

We've all had our moments and some talk to others more but I get on with them all and love them equally.

This is alarmingly very similar to my situation.

I have four brothers, they are all younger
    25, 23, 21, 17
Oh boy are they all different! But they all get on so well, since i am the only girl its harder for me to get on with them as they get on with each other, when we get together we have such giggles though, because they are genuinely so funny! I love them to bits, but when we argue boy do we argue!
Espec with my youngest brother, he slyly tells my parents everything!
Do we ever grow up eh! But i am living away now and wish i had a sister because boys arent great at phone contact and ringing for casual stupid chats! :(

I have a half brother on my 'fathers' side. I've never talked to him,and intend to keep it that way.

    Hey Nerin

I'd bet his location would be Cultured Plains as opposed to Savage Wildlands. Stay away. :)

I have only one brother, bout 3 years younger.

And well... When he was only 3 or 4 broke a fire truck, a gitf from dear auntie to him before he even saw it! Did break the knews about no santa, when he was around 6/7.. a couple of years later told him he had to be adopted (blame the health class teacher) creating major upset..

But have to say, all adding up we are best friends. Even while I was still back in Porto, thou sometimes wanted to kill him, would kill for him anytime!! And he feels the pretty much the same way...

Two sisters, both younger, one of them died.

Youngest was born after my other sister died and I took an instant disliking to her. Used to tell people she was actually a boy and her name was daniel.

Get along grand with her now except when she steals my clothes.

Get on well with my bro now, after years of mutual hatred. Turns out our personalities are too close and we clash a lot. Now though, find I can agree with him on a lot of issues. My sisters are a different breed. Oldest I'm closest to, second oldest was a bit of a hitler growing up and I still hold it against her.

    Funny how things turn out.

I have one brother. He's two and a half years older than me. We get on fine, that's about it. Nothing special or anything

Have one sister, she's two years older. We get on grand but are very different. We could never live with each other again though, fight like animals - bruised ribs and concussions from kicks to the head being samples. We were not particularly young at the time either... :o

How did you guys get on with your siblings over the Christmas/New Year?

It went ok I have to say. Spent more time with my brother and my sister was over with her family.

All in all, pretty good I have to say. Still get a lot of backlash from my brother but that's the way it goes I suppose.

i have one older brother, but he doesnt live in ireland, always wondered what it would be like living with my brother,i think he would the cool type of person who would let me do whatever i want

Myself and my brother are both in the same line of work. He got it into his head that I'm a business threat to him, which I am not by any means, and to cut a long story short he now has lots of money and no brother. He has no kids so my sons are the nearest thing he has to family in that respect but they get nothing from him not even a Christmas card this year. I don't wish him ill but as each day passes I care less for him.

I have two brother one older , one younger. When i was younger me and my older brother used to be really close, and i used to follow him the whole time , now we dont really get on anymore, but we have an understanding and would do anything for eachother if it came down to it.

younger brother, well i just spoil him really, but he is in his early "teenage" years so times can get strained!

Im the youngest of three, didnt get on with my brother for years but over the past four years we havn't had a problem. My sister is the middle child and we have more in common, shes a party head and I'd be a bit quieter, but its still not safe to let us out together!

I'm the youngest. I have 2 half brothers (neither one talks to me) and one half sister (who only talks to me when imo she wants something). The youngest one is older than me by about 11 years so don't really ahve anything in common with them. It also seems our dad was a bit more laid back in raising (my mothers influence here) and we have a very close relationship. I happen to know (coz he told me) that he wasn't as close to them (he loves them like and would do anything for them of course but I think he emans in just sitting down and having talks and the likes). Whatever about my brothers, my sister is definately jealous of this fact. Also my dad recently moved in with me(he's gettin on a bit) and she does not like that at all!!!!
