Maybe he did hear them speaking Polish? In the same way I can hear German, French, Dutch, Italian and Spanish I can usually deduce whether a group of people are speaking Polish or not (greet or leave each other by saying Czezsc. Saying kurva multiple times). And maybe they looked more Polish physically than Lithuanians or Slovaks, two other large groups here who have minor physical differences generally.

Is there an equivalent of wigger to do with Poles? Y'know, wishing you were Polish or something? I told this story to afew people and they said the have noticed the same happening several times, even in different shops of the same chain. Anyone else ever notice this happening?

Reread the post. He states several times they were speaking Polish.

It's pretty deplorable how acceptable most people find this behavior though. Theft somehow is magically not stealing if it's off a company for some reason. It's the same attitude that gives us people who happily buy stolen goods as well.

1 - How do u feel with your guilty conscience ? why u didn't report it ?

2 - learn Polish , get Polish Passport and u will get free german food as well.

I think the fact they were polish, or at least not irish is very relevant. Its not like there arent pleny of irish who might do this, they might only do it say for a close friend, or some shady fella they owed money. On the other hand foreign people in another country can have this weird clique thing going on where they`ll do things for each other just because they are the same nationality. Its the same kinda logic that builds gettos i reckon.

The guy was a total muppet tho, was the dude who got half a trolley of free stuff going to give him a job when he got fired ?, and the way things are going its probably going to be pretty tough to get a job without a reference and bad rumors about you.

Where and when did I state that I wish to be anything other than what I am? I'd hardly say I 'jumped down the throat' of the OP, a slight over reaction there. I'm simply sick to death of the constant anti-immigrant threads that appear here, many of which often have little though put into them or any real argument.

that's funny what u say

in Ireland where are over 100.000 Polish people living u think that everyone is so friendly to other person just because he/she is the same nationality ?

it might work somewhere in New Zealand* or Peru where is small Polish community but not here, where in every single company, shop etc u can meet Polish people.

* My dad who works on the ships told me few stories how happy Polish people were in exotic places when they met some Polish crew members and invited them for dinner etc.
