    Oh we are so cool...

If I laugh anymore I might just vomit up my insides..
Imagine what I was like... one of my friends from The College View sent me it unexpectedly.
    I nearly cried!

Right, pending SU confirmation and approval / granting of a room (and obviously agreement from the commitee), here is the requested event schedule:

    Week 1: 15/10: ''Battlestar Galactica'' Series 1, Episodes 1-5

Week 2: 22/10: ''Star Wars IV:A New Hope''

    Week 3: 29/10: ''Battlestar Galactica'' Series 1, Episodes 6-10

    Week 4: 5/11: ''2001: A Space Odyssey'' / ''Transformers''

    Week 5: 12/11: READING WEEK

    Week 6: 19/11: ''Doctor Who'' Series 3, Episodes 1-3.

Week 7: 26/11: Possible date for Quiz. Would The Mercantile on Dame Street be an OK venue?

    Again- only a PROVISIONAL timetable

Reading Week??? Surely you dont intend to not run the Soc cos of that.
Two reasons, not everyone has reading week, and those who do just have more time to screw about!

That's a good question. I've missed 3 of my socs egms (2 were on tonight, and I wanted to go home early.... and sleep :o sue me) so I don't really know what they entail or where we'd even have it? Henry Grattan might be free?

I should probably organise the EGM, shouldn't I?
    :pac:
I'll think of a date after we become ''official''.
This feels like a ****ty relationship, the kind I inevitably end up in.
    ''no, it's not official yet''
...it never is official is it?
    Bitch.

You should arrange a casual meet up of your members, even if its just to drink, make sure the soc is forgotten about

I spoke to the UCD head guy. ^_^

We can organise quizzes whenever and they'll be there.. Also, we can do joint showings if we can get a venue.

    They've got nearly 300 members.

And he gave me some hints and stuff for running this.

That would be an excellant venue.
Although we could hold it on a Friday or Thursday?
    I'll talk to Gareth.

If any committee member can be in tomorrow early, we need stuff approved by SU, we need to set up our stand thing.. etc. Give us a text? :P I'll try get up as early as possible.

UCD Sci-Fi auditor here, the quiz as I said to Carri was an invitation from UCD ;)

An invitation out to UCD where we would be holding said quiz :P
