    I've been shopping in Supervalu lately and i cant help but think of rolleyes smiley whenever i hear their motto mentioned over the PA system at the end of each bargain they announce;
"Supervalu - Real food, Real people."

As opposed to what? "Artificial food, Machines."
    I think its dumb.

I like the Audi one; "Vorsprung durch tecknik".
I've no idea what it means but it sounds cool.

I haven't heard that SV one but if I were you I would have thrown cans of beans at everyone!!

    That would have sorted that.

As for the Audi one, I am not sure you are saying it right but I have heard that 'kind' of phrase used in countless amounts of German things.

Firs Was PVD Vorsprung 92-98 remixes :D

Best motto I heard was for Galway Hooker brewing company (it's a beer).

    "Goes Down Easy!"

Used to be on their website but just had a look there and didn't see it, maybe they had to change it...

There was the spoof ad a few years ago with a pig with a spring in each trotter. The footnote was "Four sprung pork technik"

    McDonald's: "I'm lovin' it"

Anyone who actually loves McDonald's food needs their head examined.

Being an anagram of "Ailing Vomit"*, it's not the best, is it?

    * well, the non-trucaded version of it is!

My school jacket used have something like ''It's cool to be warm and dry." on the tag. :pac:

I've always thought Centra's one was cheesy, with that cringy voice-over. ''For the waay we live todaaay..." Feck off.

    Brennan's ''Today's bread today." Now that's just un-imaginative.

Kleenex Tissues- ''Let it out''. Pointless advert, too.

and I bet somebody got paid top dollar to come up with them too.

    Dublin Bus:

    http://www.dublinbus.ie/home/

    Serving the entire community

    ???

Why are they telling us that they are serving the ENTIRE community??? Is that just in case you are from Dublin 18 or Ballyfermot, or if you are from an ethnic minority group, you might think they won't let you on the bus!?!?!

I've never eaten anything from McDonalds, and I'm especially glad since they started using that jingle. I'm hating it.

Dublin Bus.... reminds me of their old one.

    "Changing With The City"
Except they never said WHICH city... I always thought they might just do a good job if it was Calcutta...

Given my mental maturity is that of a just-arrived-on-the-scene-of-adolescence teenage boy, I always have a chuckle at that ad. I could do a post-watershed version of that ad! (if you blur out my face and change my voice-everything else is cool:D)
