    Holy crap, this thread is the most action "Strange Things" has seen since before my time :D

    I'm not in college anymore, but I'd like to see the Soc take off, and I'm willing to share my boundless knowledge :)

    If you get the soc off the ground there is a big box of Star Trex VHS tapes knocking about somewhere that belonged to ST :)

    Yeah T101 - the back room has VHS players. Talk to Film Soc, do they still run twice weekly? Maybe grab another day and ask for permission to use the room.

    Well if it isnt the ST ressurecter himself :D.

    I'd almost try and get it incorrpoated into games soc, like STOCS did, and Anime should, like Queens and Cork does....get all the nerds in one place :)

    *cough* Queen's soc SciFi soc is seperate to Dragons ;)

    Note that Games and Film Soc came out of ST ;)

    Really, i just assume cos they had stuff at Q-Con.

    Yeah, I heard about the Film Soc thing, and they destroyed ST's equipment too...bastards!!!

    Right, so, I've every intention of getting this soc up and running.. :P Dunno about the rest of you!

    I've got Torchwood and Stargate boxsets at my disposal..

    Also. I LOVE Star Trek.. :P But refuse to be labeled a trekkie!

    We did it.
    We were told that we needed the committee and 20 signatures to get the ball rolling again. Then, while collecting signatures we were told we needed student nos too. So we set about getting student nos. Success. We got 21, and about 40 signatures overall. Result.
    Just need to get this stuff in before 9:30 and we'll have a table at clubs and socs day.
