They didnt collide anything yet, they just turned it on. Apparenly it'll be a few month before they start banging shit into each other...yeah I was disappointed when I heard that too. All that media over just turning the bloody thing on. LHC fail!

The first collision is expected to occur around the 21st of October.

I did have a rather superior snigger at all the media-frenzy surrounding them just powering the blody thing up.
