Got my pack yesterday for 1st year - there's a lot of info for students needing accommodation, info about getting a locker and of course the dreaded bank giro:eek:

Will anyone else be in Kevin St. for induction on Thursday 18th like me?!

Do we get packs at Induction Day

I think so, it says a "full information pack will be presented to you on arrival!" Hopefully it's more exciting than a couple of forms and a bank giro :P

As the year progresses you'll get even more free stuff too...

We were given pot noodle and condoms on the same day last year. Were not really sure what it was they were trying to promote.

you can get one done in trinity as well, just in case you miss the day they are doing them in DIT, as trinity does them all year round.

    Hello Hello!!!

Just so you know you can get them done on every DIT site by just calling into the Students' Union offices. Hand in a completed form and the charge and they take the picture. It takes a few days for you to get your card, but you're given the card number straight away which means there's no delay in getting cheaper student fares!!!

And DIT does them all year round aswell!!!!

No need to trek down to Trinity!
