Where can i find info on when i should return to college this year? Cant find the calendar on dit's amazing website! Im going into comp science yr 2 if that helps!

The college should have the list of people who accepted first round offers by Monday. You should get two packs within the next week and a half. First pack will have registration and induction details from your Faculty. Second pack will have Student Handbook and Diary, CD-Rom about student life; sports brochure; and some other goodies (last year there was a lolly, but I think the recession has hit this year).

i told a bunch of the guys that he email it to ya's instead of us and they were like "sweet now we'll have extra time cause he emailed the wrong crowd".

Not yet, was later last year I think, probably first week in September.

Ah, DIT can be really slow with getting those packs out to ya!

Never the less...your parents arent looking forward to the envelope arriving cos it'll have a big fat €900 bill in it they have to pay!!!

Inductions are the week of the 15th, so ye'll be in for a day and a half at some stage that week, and then the fun stuff starts on the 22nd with lectures and labs and FRESHERS WEEK!!!!!

I'm saving up to get totally tit-faced that week!!!!

Some of us have to pay it ourselves...note to first time freshers, try to pick the right course for you the first time around, parents don't take kindly to having to pay for registration AND course fees if you do first year a second time, or in my case, a third. Have a good feeling about this year though:p

Agreed... except if I'd left when I first told them I wanted to no fees would have been paid at all :eek: That is the only reason they paid my fees hehe
