8pm - late: Cowboys night in the Old Bar

Tuesday September 23rd
8pm - late: County colours in the Old Bar / Hypnotist in The Venue

Wednesday September 24th
10:30-12: Opening Address & Welcome
12-1: Lunch
1-3: Meet student union & campus tour

Thursday September 25th
10-12: Expectations of university life
12-2: Lunch
2-3: Meet with academic staff
3-4: Meet with personal tutors/year heads
8-late: Comedy night in The Venue

Friday September 26th
3:30: collect student card
5-6: Ceili in the Old Bar

think it just says printed whatever day ya looked at it. I checked it on monday and it said printed 25th Aug 08.

My debs is the 22nd. I'm gonna miss the first night out with the new class.
Has anyone heard anything from DCU yet? Like actual correspondence and not just checkin the website?

Shouldn't worry though. Still LOADS of time for post and that to arrive!

Guys, that timetable belongs to my class. It's last year's! Chances are, it'll change. There's new modules for CS2 this year, so the second year timetable is being moved around, which means the lecturer's timetables will be moved, which will affect the first year class because it's the same lecturers!

I did think it sounded a bit odd that our first night out was a Cowboy's Night. Maybe it'll turn out be so cheesy its actually cool.

The 22nd also happens to be my birthday, so I've never had a cowboys night for a birthday :eek:

Wow, wow, wow! I was away for the weekend and when I got home today i found this Orientation week schedule... So we don't really meet till Wednesday? What are we supposed to do during the days - survive our hangovers (which I will surely have, I need to drink A LOT to survive the cowboy night...)

I hope we'll be at least be able to have internet access from the 1st day though I seriously doubt it as well...

Folks, what you think about us all meeting up somewhere just before we go to the Helix? We can go in as a gang so people don't feel too awkward??

That doesn't sound good.. I don't even have a PPS number yet so it's gonna be 2 long & lonely days...
