I'm the fattest thin person in Ireland, possibly the world. Seriously, I don't know how I can be this thin, and also this fat, all at the same time.

Probably some sort of eating disorder as a result of the evil fatty eating witch and the chocolate house.

Your fat is hiding around your organs, trying to protect them from your lifestyle.

BMI is ultra fail. It says I am in the obesity category. It fails, hard!! It seems that it fails more and more the taller you get. They really need to introduce something better tbh.

At 6'5", If I was to be "normal" I'd have to be between 11&15 stone. With quite a large frame in terms of broad shoulders and hips, I could double as the invisible man if I turned sideways at any weight in the normal recomendation.

Hasn't bmi been discredited many times over at this stage?

For non-average height people i.e Kenny/Kaiser there and athletic people with some muscle, yes.

It still works okay for your average height/build/lazy person i.e a lot of people.

It was always just a guideline though, not a rule set in stone that some people take it to be.

    I get called Sylph :(

Hover very close to underweight on BMI, considering muscle and my teeny frame I'm probably a good bit under it.

Sound like you could be my twin... think 16.5 - 17 stone would be ideal weight for me at 6ft 5 but that would still be seriously overweight according to BMI...!
