It's in the car waiting for me! (I told my mum not to get one yesterday cos i couldn't eat it, so I went and got one after weigh in today)

Ok so weigh in today.. 96.3kg. Almost 4kg in a 12 hours. Not bad going!!

    Since 9.30pm last night I've ate and drank;
    -4 litres of lucozade sport
    -500ml of coke
    -9 chicken nuggest
    -1 double cheese burger
-1 large Fries (with like 3 packs of salt)
    -1 LARGE cadbury caramel bar
    -2 sausages
    -2 rashers
    -2 slices of toast
    -1 bowl of coco pops
    -400ml of OJ
-a load of rice krispy cakes

My birthday cake is waiting for me to eat too, I'm gonna go to Tesco and get another couple of litres of lucozade and have some chicken and pasta in a while too. Probably head off out for dinner tonight too. Hopefully I'll be 99kg going to bed tonight and around 100kg on the platform tomorrow!!

Hanley, I've a question for you.

You are trying to put on 8kg more, however this isn't going to be going on as muscle(because you're just eating). I can understand if you're getting heavier with muscle, but why would you eat more to get heavier with fat?

Or is just to have the extra energy? Sorry - just a bit lost as to why you're doing this but good luck with it :D

I've dehydrated myself quite heavily over the last few dyas and cleared out my pipes so to speak. That's where the weight loss came from. It wasn't fat or muscle, and it wasn't sustainable. It was purely a move to try and get my weight down low enough to weigh in for a lighter weight class. I didn't quite make it, but even if I did I would have had to get my bodyweight back up to my training weight ASAP or my strength would suffer. Because so much water's been taken off I'd cramp up alot, leverage would be effected because I'd physically be smaller and all my gear would be looser and less supportive. So by getting my weight back up to what it has been over the last 3 or 4 weeks I'll avoid that.

All I've really done is replenish glycogen stores, get some food back in my tummy, rehydrate myself and bloat up a bit!

Thank you!! And thanks for EVERYTHING today <333

    Anyway, I hit a 272.5kg squat (that's 600lb), benched 190kg and deadlfit 245kg for a 707.5kg total. That's a 27.5kg PR on the squat, 10kg on the bench and 37.5kg on my total.

Savage day today. I'll get a thread up on it later.

    SKWAAAAT - TF

    Pulldown Abs:
    6x15 - lightish, working up

    Squats:
    *wide stance, no belt*
    60kg 2x5
    80kg x5
    100kg x5
    120kg x5
*add in belt and Titan sumo DL suit straps down*
    140kg 3x5
*all gear off, close stance now*
    80kg 2x20

    Pulldown Abs:
worked up to the stack 3x12

Change of location today, went out to TF Sandyford. Not too much of a fan of the power cage out there. The rack height I need seems to be in the middle of the two that already exist. Oh well!!! Did have a guy come up to me and ask for squatting advice tho, which was nice.

I'm starting to form a plan as to how to tackle training for the next few months. The number one goal right now is to pull 272.5kg before the year's out. My squat might have to take a bit of a back seat til then, but I can accept that.

"DE" BENCH - TF (Hence forth will be referred to as "BENCH DAY 2")

    Close Grip Bench:
    60kg 2x5
    80kg x3
    100kg x3
    115kg 6x3

Incline Bench on Smith Machine: (assuming bar weigh's 20kg, tho it does not)
    60kg x12
    80kg x12-4-3 rest paused

    Rolling Dumbbell Extenstions:
    10kg 'bells x12
    12.5kg 'bells x12
    15kg 'bells 3x12

    Machine Preacher Curls:
    2 warm up sets x12
    plate 25 x15-12-10 rest paused

    Hammer Strength Low Row:
    40kg x12
    60kg x12
    80kg x12

I've a few ideas to work with on my bench. One of them being I need to push heavier weights more often and more consistently. Hence the high set, low reps close gripper's. In addition, overall chest strength and size needs to come up so I've added in some rest pause work there. I'll be barbell inclining for the next 4 or 5 weeks on Sundays too in an effort to get it up as quick as possible.

As usual, the overall number of exercises is being kept quite low (4 to 5) but I'm gonna push them hard.

    LEG REHAB - TF

    X-Band walks to warm up

    Good Mornings:
    20kg x8
    40kg x8
    60kg x8
    80kg 3x8

    Lunges w/barbell:
    20kg x12
    40kg 3x12

    Split Squats:
    15kg 'bells 1x15

    Hack Squats:
    30kg worth of plates + sled 2x12

    Standing Ab Pulldowns:
    worked up to 97.5 3x10

My lunge strength is awful.... Really fecking bad like. I've squatted 180x5. 40kg lunges should NOT be that hard. Same goes for the Hack Squats. They weren't as easy as they should be. I'm hoping that as I get used to them over the next 5 weeks I can push the weight up hard.

I think the split squats are the movement that's going to hit where I need to hit now. I was stopping them a little above parallel and it seemed to nail my quad really hard.

    BENCH - Hercs

    Bench Press:
    60kg x8
    80kg x8
    100kg x8
    120kg x5
    *add in 4 board*
    130kg 2x5
    *switch to 2 board*
    130kg 3x5

    Incline Bench:
    70kg 4x12

    Dumbbell Flies:
    15kg 'bells x15
    20kg 'bells 2x15

    Pushdowns:
    2x20

    Chins:
    bodyweight x10
    +10kg plate 3x10

Good session. My bench is still feeling fairly strong. My first rep continues to be very explosive, which is something I'm very happy about.

I started off with the 4 board on the bench because I want to work my lockout, but I don't want to go mad heavy jsut yet. 130k was WAY too easy off that height a board so I just went to half the distance and worked some 2 boards. My PR off that height's either 140kg x3 or x5, I THINK it was x3 so I'm probably good to break that already. I'll keep adding weight and prbably go to the 4 board in 2 weeks time.

The incline bench is just something I'm gonna keep adding 10kg per week to and try to keep the reps as high as possibe. If I got to 100kg x12 I'd be more than happy.]

The flies hurt. In a good way. I've never really done em, so hopefully I'll get some extra chest size out of them over the next few weeks.

Weighed chins are at a good level. I'd like to hit bodyweight+20kg x10 in the next few weeks. From there I'll just up the weight, drop the reps and try to get stronger.

Both myself and Malteaser have decided to go on a bit of a mad diet. I'm just finished working out my plan. I probably shouldn't have stayed up this late doing it, but at least I've a plan now. This'll run for exactly the next 3 weeks, until we head off to Paris :):):)

    My plan is attached.

Also, do you not eat any fruit and veg? You're never going to be able to see in the dark without them...

Lol... well spotted. I'll reattach now sans finance sheet.

And yeah I do, I just tend not to count it for diet purposes. I assume I overestimate my kcals a bit, so it doesn't impact the overall all amount of kcals I'm consuming too badly.

    Weight on 14/5 - 103.5kg, waist = 38 inches (approx)

    Weight on 1/6 - 100.5kg, waist = 36.25 inches (approx)

    Weight on 3/6 - don't know, waist = 36 inches, Caliper's = 16ish (to 17)mm

    Weight on 8/6 - 99.94kg, waist = 35.9999 inches, calipers = 16ish mm

    Weight on 15/6 - 99.1kg, waist = 35.5 inches, calipers = 16mm

    Weight on 5/7 - 96.86kg, waist = <35.5, >35 inches, calipers = 15/16mm

    Weight on 5/8 - 97.2kg, waist = 35.25 inchs, calipers = 16mm

Plesantly surprised with that actaully. I was expecting everything to be up because I've just been pigging out for the last week or two. I guess all the weight I dropped in the weeks before my comp gave me an extra buffer.

I THINK my weight's around 98kg at the moment. Basically I wanna lose at least 3kg from whatever my weight's at now. I'm targeting 94.5kg as the figure. Which should leave me around 12-13% bodyfat. That means a caliper reading of around 12-13mm.

    EDIT: Weight - 97.2kg
