I started a new job at the beginning of June in a library and only found out that they have a shower in the lower level for employees. My supervisor said if people come to work on a bike in the warm weather or go for a run at lunch that they can take a quick shower. Never heard of this before but thought it was a good idea. I'm still waiting to find out if there is an employee game room. :D

    Library, ya big nerd. :D

Ah no, just don't be a prick. I don't want to generalize, but having spent 5 years in two different colleges, I always found the library staff to be pompus ****.

:)Nah, it is a public library. Great place to work too, brand new building. Still figuring out all the new rooms.

In my old job we had a pool table, tv and dvd player in the staff room. Sometimes the lads took in a playstation. 'twas kinda cool.

As soon as I read this I knew you were in Australia. A regular occurrence in my office too!

Edit: I could also just have looked at your location of course, would have figured it out there too!

We also have a shower and a BBQ downstairs for a good ol' sausage sizzle.

Also have a good few hotties about the place which is a handy facility in itself.

Hmm, facilities in work... well there's a gym, library, bank, 2 coffee huts (that I know of!), free tea, coffee and soft drinks, 26Mb/sec broadband (according to Speedtest.net:D), showers, and I've been told there's a dry-cleaners tucked away in here somewhere. I'm sure there's other stuff that I don't know about, but that's enough I reckon!

Must be a standard office thing in Oz, my office has it too. I'll cracking open my first Coopers Vintage in about 2hrs 43mins. Not that I'm clock watching or anything!

See THIS is exactly why we need an Australia forum. Four Aussie residents completely derailing a perfectly good AH thread!

(And there's not a single mod around to stop us! /evil laugh)

A shower at work sounds like an awesome idea. Goodbye sweaty armpits :)

Employees at Samuel Adams Brewery in USA get beer while they work and beer to take home... :( I think im in the wrong field.
