Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Good idea for a thread. Hopefully people won't just search for the answers to these :).

    Here's one that annoyed me when I was told it first:

    If you divide thirty by a half and add ten, what is the answer?

    Correct! You'd be surprised how many people will answer 25 :).

    Here's a good one:

    He who builds it, builds it to sell it,
    He who buys it doesn't want it
    He who uses it never sees it.
    What is it?

    I think that one was already answered, its a hole.

    Hah! I didn't know there was an answer to that!

    It's one of those logical but really annoyingly stupid answers that's makes you want to punch the person for asking the question. I'll wait a little bit longer to get punched though!!!:D

    I know the answer's going to be annoying but so's the waiting!

    Missed that someone had already answered it right already, yeah the egg came first. Dinosaurs were having eggs long before the chicken arrived.......now isn't that such an annoying answer to an age old question.

    Bet you someone is going to ask that in the pub this weekend!!!

    but you were still right
    0+0=0
    0x0=0
    and 2 is also right
    2+2=4
    2x2=4
    so the riddle is flawed

    Hah! So it is. I've a quick one so

    Fella starts at one corner of a square field, and walks around the four edges and back to the same spot again. It takes him 2 hours. He tries it again and it only takes him 120 mins. How come?

    Clever, 2 hours = 120 mins. I'm sure it will catch some out.

    A hunter goes out hunting one morning. He walks one mile south, one mile east where he sees a bear, he shoots the bear. He then walks one mile north and arrives home. What colour is the bear and why?

    There is a bridge that's 4KM long that can hold exactly 2tons of weight. Anymore weight and the bridge will collapse

    A truck weighing exactly 2tons ventures onto this bridge. 2.75km into the journey a bird weighing exactly 1 pound lands on top of the truck. Given the above parameters the bridge should collapse but it doesn't, why?
