My friend cant believe I'm a member,albeit a relative newbie.Says that its used by inadequate people,who take cheap shots at others to make themselves feel good.This kept me off the boards for the last while.What do ye think?

There is that element to boards but there's that element on any forum. I think his opinion is one mostly held by people who think they know it all about something they don't actually use.
