I am sad, I am not on the list after hurting people's ears with the Ninja Karaoke! But it could be that I don't go on much as I have a lot to do elsewhere online! (looking at p0rn takes up a lot of time, especially if you can't spell beastiality!) :eek:

I agree. I use the thanks button for a few reasons: if I'm lazy and want to show the fact that I have read and actioned something it's my lazybutton, if I got pleasure from reading something or if it was informative it's a thanks button, and other times it's a "+1" button.

I think the only way to encompass my reasons is to call the thanks absolutely nothing to do with positive or negative and call it a completely ambiguous term like "squidge" or "blonk". "You've been zonked by Gordon". And if you did that then we could have a new term coined every so often, with hilarious results.

What's going to happen, is that now that everyone knows there's a leaderboard, Thank-pacts will arise (if they don't already), people registering new accounts for the purpose of thanking themselves, dogs will rape cats, Jim Corr will marry a tinfoil avatar of himself - general mayhem in other words.

Is there a list anywhere that tells you the ratio of thanks given to thanks received?

I reckon I'd be fairly high up because I never thank anyone but I do receive the odd thank here and there.
