Funny thing happened tonight while i was a having a few beers !
a cat jumps onto my living room window ledge and starts to tap the window with his paw, immediately my dog (yorkshire terrier)goes berserk and makes a beeline for the cat whilst barking crazy, eventually the dog calms down and it turns into a staring match between the cat and the dog through the window much to our amusement
strange thing is do i went into the kitchen to get another beer and in my kitchen theres another cat who obviously came through the dog flap installed eating the dogs food and the second it seen me was gone back out like a shot
question is do you think the two cats set up the dog by distracting it whilst the other eats the dogs food and then swap places or did i have one or two more beers than i should had????

My cat seems to be extremely intelligent as far as cats are concerned and I'm confident he could do something along these lines if it weren't for the fact that our other cat is exceptionally stupid.

Ohhh... be careful. Looks like it might be a zombie kitteh attack.

Just wait, the house will eventually be surrounded tonight by thousands of cats with glazed looks in their eyes and hungry only for brainz.

I have a theory which I like to call "Theory On the comparison of humans and felines in terms of their respective intelligence." In it's simplest terms, the theory goes thus:

Cats are like people - some are clever, some are stupid.

    suppose

when you look at the way big cats co-operate then you would have to say they would have some method. i don't know if domestic cats can use diversionary tactics though

No. It's the best cat. On death row and you can laugh at him. The second best type of cat is a dead one :pac:

A young friend of mine read that they were used to scare away mummies. He tried it, but his mum still made him go to bed on time.

its also true that if a cat falls from a height it always lands on its four paws

also when toast is dropped it always lands with the buttered side on the floor

so if both these theories are correct ,what if you tied a slice of buttered toast to a cats back and threw it from a height would it just keep spinning in the air and never land?????

    /ill get my coat!

That depends - if the height is in an anti-gravity chamber than cat and toast will fall "up"

You don't see as many dogs squashed on the road...

But cats are cool. They are smart enough to prostitute themselves for food, and then when fed, they don't give a sh*t about you.

Once a cat has been skinned and is simmering gently under a pastry crust you don't need to be concerned about it's intelligence.:D

good news for eberyone who like me doesn't like cats, if you run over a cat in a car you don't have to report it to anyone. you can run over as many as you want but if you hit a dog you must report it to the cops.

see even the law is on our side
