i prefer not to judge anyone until i've walked a mile in their shoes. on the same token, anyone who would try to judge me before walking in my shoes, can go to hell :)

i think the expression 'sowing the wild oats' is the one most try to equate w/ having that last fling on your hen/stag night. kind of like getting a "get out of jail free" card being the occasion it is. i don't agree and think it's just the beginning's of a recipe for disaster, but people have their reason's i guess?!

on cheating in general, it happens. it's doesn't mean it's the *right* thing to do, but it does happen and sometimes for very good reasons.
more often than not there is alot more beyond the surface and that is why i prefer not to judge anyone finding themself in these sorts of situations.

I look on it like one last crack of the whip. It's not like you've taken any vows(yet).

    When I was a bottleboy in a nightclub I dreaded hen's nights

I was molested by middle aged women. I was 15/16 and these women absolutely molested me. Seriously, thats the right word for it, I had scratch marks after every hen night! Once a woman tried to drag me into a toilet, dunno if she was the hen or not, but she was as old as my mother, sh!t faced and STANK or booze and fags, didn't take much to fight her off

No, I wouldnt be unfaithful. Defeats the purpose of getting married, makes a mockery of it tbh.

I think hen nights are tacky as fuck.

I've been to a good few stags in the last two years, and havent seen the stag cheat.

I absolutely hate those weekends, usually just two days of solid drinking, pure messy sh*te, falling around the place. Its like fcuking punishment.

And no i wouldnt cheat, whats the point in getting married if you are going to be acting the bollox with the relationship.

    Moan over.

I don't just judge people who cheat, I make a point of going out and beating them up for it too. Even though it's none of my business. :pac:

I was on a Stag in Kilkenny a few years ago.
I was shocked and disgusted to hear that the groom to be had scored and didn't go home alone. I was even more shocked and disgusted when i learnt that he had scored a "bride-to-be" that was one hen weekend.
    No morals or conscience people?!

well at least she wont come knocking on his door.

am married, I havent and nor would i

Not only do I think that shagging someone else on your hen/stag and then weeks later committing your "undying love" for your other half is disgusting and a horrendous disrespect for them, but furthermore, what kind of mindset is it to go into a marriage with the person you supposedly love, thinking that your stag/hen night is your "last night of freedom"? If these people view it as such, then why the hell are they getting married and almost guaranteeing causing heartache for themselves and someone else in the future?

Either do it properly or stay single.

No and if I did I'd know I wasn't meant to be getting married.
Have never, thankfully!, understood this way of thinking.

    Didn't and wouldn't.

A stag is enjoyable enough in that you have a good time with your mates, but the get tied to a post/last night of freedom/ride a stripper ones are for jackasses.

I would never, and if I suspected the groom may have, theres no way on earth I'd walk down the aisle

Been to a lot of hens, it was never an issue, after all its the same thing as cheating..however I went to one wedding where I heard later that the stag had done it, and as god is my witness, theyve now filed for divorce after two years and having a beautiful baby girl......once untrustworthy, nearly always untrustworthy...having said that, a male friend told me recently that he frequently gets chatted up by hens and has been with a couple of them!! Doesnt matter whos at it, it doesnt exactly set a good precident..

Unless you're one of these 'open relationship' couples.....then I guess anything goes ;)

    Classic :p

I wouldnt dare. If your planning to marry someone, why would you want to cheat on them? one last night of freedom my ass. If your ready to score someone else, your not ready to get married in my opinion.

I am just back from a stag weekend and not one of the group strayed. Most are happily married and/or have long term partners me included. We had great banter with the ladies but that was it.

My job is to run pub crawls around Dublin city and I'm constantly being booked to bring hen nights or stag parties (not just Irish ones, from pretty much everywhere) around and I've gotta say that most times they are out to get the stag/hen laid.

They aren't even subtle about it or of the mind that if it happens it happens, they are specifically setting out to get the hen or stag pissed and get them laid. I've said it to a few of the people in the groups and they just laugh it off and say it's all a bit of fun, and I've been asked plenty of times if I could point the group towards a brothel or if I have a way of getting a male escort.

One of the groups of guys that were being really scummy about the whole thing kept asking me for directions to a strip club where they could get a "happy ending" so I gave them directions to the George, I still wonder occasionally if any of them got laid that night :p

I wouldn't do it myself, but it seems cheating on your stag/hen night is a pretty acceptable thing for a lot of people from what I can tell

I've never been to a hen night like that, ever. All the ones I've been to (loads) have been very civilised, a nice dinner followed by fancy drinks has been the standard format. No slutiness to be seen!

i've known girls who "you would think" are as nice as pie and love their bf's, but once they actually go out they go looking for a shag on a night out.. and also one girl in particular is the type that would set out to pull the stag!

There's a names for girls like that.
