    Worst comeback ever :D

Wasnt so much a comeback as an acceptance of defeat.

But 5'7" for a man is very small.

1.98m, about 6'5". Still not quite tall enough to regularly hit my head on doors, but definitely enough to make some cars and tanks a tight squeeze.

    NTM

har har even with heels you'd still be shorter than me :p but to be honest then when I wear heels most men are too :D:D the heels do elongate your legs but jasus 3 inchers alnight can be bitch do you not think?

4''s actually:cool:. When I'm in a club honestly I can handle the shoes, it's just the walk to the taxi that can be a pain when I do wear them.

I'm the same height and I'd be too skinny if I was nine stone.

Im pretty sure im 6 feet tall. The same height as i was when i was 12, back then i towered over everyone but now im 28 and the same height and with the influx of Polish and other nationalities, im not longer feeling very tall :D

1.98 is 6'6 exactly. most irish doors are 6'6 but i have seen ones much much shorter e.g most of the houses on prospect hill in galway have front doors between 5'11 and 6'2

normally american doors are taller than irish doors though

6'1. Currently 15 stone. Was 16 stone last September. Used a bmi calculator and it almost put me into the obese level. Had to join a gym after seeing that. Working at a desk all day doesn't help.:)

If you can read this, you're too close!

people are shorter at night than in the morning, once you reach 40 you will also start to shrink natually approx 0.5-1cm every decade is normal

    height 6'0" i was barefoot
    weight 75.5 kg/ 11st 12 lb (b.m.i. = 22)

I knew that but 1 whole inch?
so I've lost an inch from 25-29, and will lose more after 40? The Shire here I come.

nah you wouldn't lose any height in your 20s unless you have some disease like curving of the spine or you badly broke your leg or something. you only start to lose height after 40 so by 50 you would begin to notice that you are perhaps 1cm shorter than you were at 40.

the only explanation i can give is that you were measured either wrongly or you were measured in the morning last time (within 2 hours of waking up). Most people are 0.5-1 inch taller first thing in the morning than last thing at night

Scratch that, probably a combination of the morning/night thing, plus I broke bones in my neck too so that could explain some of it too.
    Ah well.

I bloody hate that!! how the fcuk do people not get that an umbrella in the eye hurts!! It's like being a contestant on Gladiators trying to survive walking down O'Connell street on a rainy day
    +1

I have recieved a gash about 2cm below my right eye because of one of these ignorent f-ers, wasn't even still raining at the time.
I so wish they'd ban umbrellas, or at least ban all but the ones where the spines point down even when it's deployed.
