Hungus, as your MM bum buddy I am disgusted you have bought this. You just crapped all over my petrucci

Well, in this case it's a mahogany neck, and I've heard they don't make for the nicest unfished necks, so painted is probably preferable.

You heard wrong. An unfinished mahogany neck actually feels nicer than unfinished maple, in my opinion.

    It's got stereo outputs?! Oldschool!

Ah, well I've never tried one, so I stand to be corrected.

Hmm, I don't know how I missed this thread. That's a damn fine guitar, best of luck with it!

Are you going to learn two-handed tapping so that you can play it and the Petrucci at the same time? ;)

    Oh ok, here's something different:

Not as good as the playing on the other video mind you, but still pretty decent.

What's this - 8 pages and no guitar yet?

The anticipation must be killing you! But no, I don't feel sorry for you. :pac:

Love that video, makes me feel real good about my playing. :D

I actually played like that when I went to inspect Doc's arsenal. His geetars are intimidating in their awesomeness so I was afraid to let loose! :pac:

Ah, who am I kidding, I always sound like that.

Hah! Yeah, the anticipation is pretty crazy, but I'll survive, somehow. ;)

Neat stuff. Did Doc have the Bacchus at the time you inspected his gear? If so, how was it?

You should come to Galway at some stage, have a few pints, and have a go on one of my babies. ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,592 ✭✭✭Ancient1

He did have the Bacchus, yeah. It's so damn good I just couldn't believe it - simply incredible. The Eggle is a monster too. Jammy mother****er. :)

If I end up in your neck of the woods, I should probably have a few pints after I have a go on one of your geetars, not before. :pac:

It wouldn't do if you got hammered first and smashed some of his guitars.
    Murder.
