    That one is a 6 string.....you have a 7.
    2 completely different guitars.

Just as matter of interest....how many electrics have you got?....not accoustics.

Well, the EADGBE strings are the same on the 7 string. ;)

A few, I'm not going into it, as I'm letting quite a few go at the moment.

    Here's another, more telling snippet:

Aye, it's quite a stunning finish. All the BFR Petruccis come with piezos, not like the older Petrucci models where there was a number of different opinions you could order.

You can check out the specs of the guitar here.

Private seller. He's hooking me up with the Bareknuckles too, which is awesome. I'll be getting the Painkiller in bridge position, and Cold Sweat in neck, it's going to sound out of this world. ;)

Well, in this case it's a mahogany neck, and I've heard they don't make for the nicest unfished necks, so painted is probably preferable. Besides, I've played a music man bass that had a painted neck before, and it doesn't feel like you'd expect it to, it's different from the likes of Gibson necks.

Long overdue indeed man, although I think if I was recording clips, it'd be like my usual camera phone gear pics; crappy PC mic quality. :o
