To be quite honest, who gives a rats arse about hype? If a guitar is nice to play, then buy, bring it home and play it until either you or it dies, whichever is first.

    Agreed with you there. ;)

Couldn't tell ya what they were. They weren't CE models though. Oddly, I actually liked the CE models I did play though. The Tremonti was rather nice.

Funny enough my fav PRS are the less expensive CE models...preferably 22's.
Less expensive at €2222 on Thomann + about €300 for the bird inlays.

    No pics....no thread....time to shut up shop.....unless a pic comes soon.:p

Talk like this makes me a very sad panda...

Honestly, kids today, no patience at all. I blame video games, and too much McDonalds and candy.

No patience? You're the one who posted a thread about a guitar you don't even have!

Hey, come on now, I thought this would be a very fun and different way to dramatically unveil something new, and it seemed like it went down ok, with people making some very good speculations. No need for this thread to be closed at all.

Just having a bit of a laugh....no need to flex the muscles....:D

You need to give us another clue....

I suggested PRS and the reply was 'yawn tbh'
someone else sugested PRS and didn't get a yawn....

That was a reply to the thread, not to your post

Ah, but did you expect me to last this long? :D

Here we have another piece of the puzzle... A little more telling this time:

    quilt3qs4.jpg

It shall be coming with Bare Knuckle pickups. Nifty. ;)

Direct mounted pickups eh? Its an Ed Roman Quicksilver - damn fine guitar (better than PRS according to my source*), and Ed is supposedly a gentleman to boot! Congrats :)

Could have been worse.....he might have said a Rockwood Les Paul made from plywood. Has it's own distinctive tone!!!!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,126 ✭✭✭darrenw5094

Maybe a EVH style Musicman or Peavey....

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,130 ✭✭✭✭Karl Hungus

Some very fine guesses guys, but do you think I'll even tell you if you get it right? For all you know, someone could've already guessed correctly early on in the thread. ;)

I shall reveal a little more later.
