And allowing significant black immigration into Ireland would not be wise unless you want problems. That's an opinion, (SteveC) and I invite you to discuss it.

What a dumb opinion. "Blacks" - well there's a heck of a lot of those guys and gals. And blacks where? Africa? America? Brazil? Britain? France? What is he basing this on?
I've no doubt it's probably the case in a big American city like, say, Chicago. Did he ever consider the reasons why black people are more likely to commit crime than white people? That maybe it's a bit more complicated than simply that "they're black"? Reasons such as: poverty, racial discrimination (e.g. police/courts being harsher on black people than on white people), black people's history still having an effect on the black psyche today etc.

That's a post on another forum... and it doesn't back up how the statistics were collected either.

Poverty-cause and effect are hard to determine here. Think about WHY they are poor. Perhaps they are poor because they are of the kind of feckless disposition that goes along with criminality.

Racial discrimination-there are laws dealing with that. If anything the balnce is probably tipped in their favour.

As for history-that's just a pitiful excuse.

All over the world. And yes, why shouldn't it be linked to race. Humans evolved physical differences so why shouldn't they have evolved behavioural/psychological ones too.

I don't think anyone is attacking you for being unpc. It has more to do with the fact that you have yet to offer a grounded argument of basis for your accusations. There is ample evidence to back up what you say like there is ample evidence that contradicts it.

That isn't a very reputable source. Also some of those "stats" are for crimes by black against whites (and the reverse). What does it matter that the crime was against someone of a different race? If someone robs my house it doesn't make the crime less severe just because it is done by someone of the same race as me?
