What a dumb opinion. "Blacks" - well there's a heck of a lot of those guys and gals. And blacks where? Africa? America? Brazil? Britain? France? What is he basing this on?
I've no doubt it's probably the case in a big American city like, say, Chicago. Did he ever consider the reasons why black people are more likely to commit crime than white people? That maybe it's a bit more complicated than simply that "they're black"? Reasons such as: poverty, racial discrimination (e.g. police/courts being harsher on black people than on white people), black people's history still having an effect on the black psyche today etc.

Poverty-cause and effect are hard to determine here. Think about WHY they are poor. Perhaps they are poor because they are of the kind of feckless disposition that goes along with criminality.

Racial discrimination-there are laws dealing with that. If anything the balnce is probably tipped in their favour.

That isn't a very reputable source. Also some of those "stats" are for crimes by black against whites (and the reverse). What does it matter that the crime was against someone of a different race? If someone robs my house it doesn't make the crime less severe just because it is done by someone of the same race as me?

You're right that colour of the victim maybe should not have been included, still doesn't detract from the picture those stats paint though does it?

My only daughter wanted to marry a lad whose skin is so black we can't find him in the dark. I not only gave my blessing, but also encouraged her, because he was and is the straightest, most genuine guy I have met in years. His parents, brothers, sisters, are lovely people and we have all, as an enlarged family group, enjoyed many happy hours together, learning from each other and laughing hyterically at each others "racist" jokes.

So, having got that off my chest, Ireland and the UK seem to have an open door policy that lets anyone in irrespective of whether or not they are going to assimilate and contribute. We have issues of whether or not a girl in school should be allowed to wear a hijab. We have black drug gangs from Jamaica and elsewhere starting feuds and killing people. We have Muslims preaching hate towards us and telling us that their target is that we all become Shia Muslims.

The solution, I suspect, is the US and Australian model. "What do you bring?" If your intention is simply economic migration, to take advantage of our society, don't bother."

Anyway science (and politics) are not completely objective, they can be influenced by not wanting to come up with conclusions that offend.

I would agree with you to a certain degree but the question should be "Will you contribute?" If someone is here to work and make an honest living then let them come over. If they just want to sponge then they send them back. Also any foreigner who has a serious crime on their record within a certain period of time should not be allowed to enter.

Because that indicates you feel these stats are down to just race rather than socio-economic reasons. If we're going to go down the eugenics road - i.e. blaming skin colour/race for particular tendencies - then tell me this: what race is responsible for genocides, slavery, the rape of entire continents etc in the name of "civilisation"? Actually the Africans are quite partial to the old genocide also, that's not just whites. Africans also enslaved other Africans left right and centre, it still happens to this day. And the empire was mutually beneficial, Africa's been worse since independence.
