a guy got a tattoo in irish and does not know what it meant?

    this was on my bands forum can anyone help with translation -

    Hi,

    A friend of mine got drunk with his girlfriend once and they both woke up tattooed. Anyways, he found himself having some Irish text on his arm not knowing what the hell it meant. I guess he didn't remember where he got it so he couldn't ask its meaning. What's better, it's written in the Gaelic script.

    So, if any Irishman here would be so kind to translate this for me so I can tell my friend, I'd be very grateful.

    So it's Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Probably a good idea at the time. :)
