I sure hope the results are out this week, as this is my final week to wait (and yours of course). I keep telling myself surely the fails would have been out by now!!!! I feel sorry for mrsgenehunt, she is going away to NYC and I want her to get her results before she goes.

    Ola.

Has anyone heard from Consensia regarding C14 IST's as yet? Seems there are a few waiting results here.

Got a friend at staying at Chateau Garnerville, in the first few weeks, all good at the minute. The PCA seems to be the biggie to worry about for me, not that I am a fat boy (well not that bad anymore).

Should have applied years ago, but for one reason or another i didn't. Pity.

Hi thanks for the welcome, I have been lurking around for a while on the forum, I applied the first day of C14 campaign and got tested on the 28/04/08. So I suppose its very early day for me. I just don't like waiting about. I have experience of other selection procedures and they can be arduous, many years ago (I am 36 ) had the joy of going through the recruitment process with the Civil Aviation Authority for an Air Traffic Controller's post. It took in total 19 months, from filling in the application form. It constisted of a couple of aptitude tests, psychometric analysis, medicals, interviews and vetting. I actually started in April 91 and my vetting and confirmation of employment came in later in July '91 , I doubt that would happen these days post 9/11. Oh and they "lost" my application form at one stage too.

And before anyone asks, no I am no longer a ATCO. I parted company with the CAA years ago.

Yes I done my training in Bournemouth. Acutally because of the way they pay them during training now, I was earning more then in 1991 than he is now.

Does anyone know how many people pass/fail in the training in Garnerville?

Main thing: Wear a suit and tie if you're a guy or the equivalent if you're a gal. Keep the mouth shut, look at the people who will be addressing you, and don't stand out in any way. Stay grey.

Having experience of similar "Stay Grey" seems to be way I would go. The last thing you want to do is stand out like some gobby clown. Shiney shoes, clean pressed suit, ironed shirt, well knotted tie if you're a guy. Girls, strong office attire, no bright colours. Look smart, be smart. You don't want them to pounce on you in Hotel GV when you get there do you?
Remember they may well be watching you as much as you are watching them.

And enjoy. Well done for getting so far.

well your only going to start going through the whole process so why don't you take this opportunity to get fit?mostly it's the mental aspect of getting fit that gets to most people when in fact there is opportunities everywhere, get a bike, skipping rope, decent pair of trainers or even join a gym (most council owned gyms are reasonably priced), you dont need weights to get fit, body weight exercises would be fine with things like press ups,sit ups and pull ups,if you build your core fitness doing routine exercises will seem much easier, start yourself off slow and build up and you'll never give the instructors a reason to get on your back.

Hi Guys and Gals, aint been on in a while since my medical back at the beginning of the year. I failed it, however appealed with full medical backup and have since received a letter to say ive passsed. Now im hoping to be just waiting on a date. Hope everything goes well for the rest of u guys. All i can say is try try and try again if need be. Always take notes of your assessment days should you need to do them again. Trust me i learnt this too late lol. Ive been trying since 2001 and hopefully now ive got it in the bag. If your keen to get in, you will try as hard as you possibily can guys. Hopefully ill be livin proof that perserverence pays off (think thats how you spell it)....

Goodcop...whats the update with you pal.

Quick question how did you fail your medical? PM me if too embarrassing, I have a hearing drop in one ear at certain frequencies, but the CAA OK'd it and their med is very strict. i'm wondering how hearing is looked on?

    Hi Folks,

Just a quick update for all C14'ers waiting on IST results. I finally decided to contact consesnisa today to see if they could give me an update on when my results will be out (its been 15 working days today) and they told me that results will not be out until next week so looks like there is a bit more waiting for us yet...
