I knew that might get your attention gents.

OK here's the quandary....Herself went to buy a bra yesterday, decided to get properly measured and lo and behold found out she's a 38DD.

Perhaps the foreknowledge of my obvious pleasure was enough, but she came home grinning like a Cheshire cat.

Having laboured under the impression she was a 42C for some time now, my problem is this; How do I celebrate?! (and try not to appear entirely smug too...)

Such a momentous occasion demands proper recognition and I don't want to go off half-cocked with some half hearted plan.

Suggestions on a post card etc etc

Eh, what's the point of this? It's not like they have gotten bigger? It's just a measurement, they haven't changed at all.

May I suggest a swingers party to celebrate. A low key one though. You don't want to make it too obvious that you're showing off.

42C - 42inch chest
3 inch bust.

38dd - 38inch chest
5 inch bust.

I think its something to do with actual volume.

when you measure the ban a 38 is not a 38 its actually a 35 inch, then you add 3 inches to that. Then measure the cup and the difference between the cup and the band size gives you the cup letter.

So chest measurement=35=38
Cup= 42
Final Bra =38DD.

Now I'm going to have a beer.

I don't think it's the cup sizes she was grinning about, but the numbers. Imagine going to the tailor tomorrow and he told you that you'd lost four inches off your waistline....

Thing about it is, this means she can get bras that really fit her body and support her boobs now as opposed to kinda fit and mostly feel comfortable. (Also there's that "YAY! I have nice big boobies!" thing... or maybe that's just me)

I think it's about 70% of women wear the wrong bra size, correct me if I'm wrong here. We're meant to be re-measured every 6 months or so.

Photo's, erm, have plenty, but she'd absolutely kill me if I passed them round - her hobby is Muay Thai kick-boxing so I'm not taking any risks showing her face here...

So she bought some lingerie to celebrate, which I duly accessorized for her (This is as far as I'll go with accessorizing btw)...

*Bangs head against wall* Of course the new bra looks good, it fits her now!!!
She was measured wrong.
Its got to do with some places adding the wrong number of inches to the original band size, some add 5 giving 42 some add 3 giving 38.

And its GinnyJo, and since I have a pair of the aforementioned boobs I can promise you I know a bit more about sizing then you.:D
