It may be a symbol for many many other things but the point is its most recent and most famous usage is by the nazis. So regardless of what it may signify to others to the majority it signifies a certain belief and to Jewish people something very terrible.

They are probably Buddhists. When in Tibet I saw them everywhere, especially at the entrances to the various monasteries, it was a symbol merely adopted by the Nazis, it has way deeper connotations than anti semetic ones so I would be inclined to give your neighbours the benefit of the doubt tbh. Why don't you ask them?

It's a sad reflection that many people don't understand the history of the Swastika. It's quite interesting how it became a symbolf for totally unrelated cultures, American Indians through Vikings through Bhuddists. A US military unit had the swastika as its insignia until the early 1940s.

Check which way the arms go. If they're pointing anti-clockwise, he's definitely a bhuddist.

    NTM
How to explain the Panzer in their drive then?

I did some contract work in the old Swastika Laundry years ago, and found the pic in the link below in an old store room there.

I was intrigued, and then It suddenly 'fell' into my van ;)

    The gentle swastika

I dont think any country or culture has not known the swastika in some form throughout its history, and i think its rather beautiful, as far as im aware in places such as Japan and in countries where Buddhism is prevelant, the swastika is used on maps to indicate a temple, your neighbour is probably a hindu or buddhist, what nationality or ethnicity are they, i doubt very much a neo nazi would have the balls or cheek to hang a swastika on the putside of their house.

Microsoft have removed Swastika and reverse swastika and start of david from one of their fonts so as not to upset some people. You know the sort of people who seem to delight in being upset by something.

Microsoft has released the Bookshelf Symbol 7 Font Removal Tool. This tool removes the Bssym7.ttf font that is included in Microsoft Office 2003. This font has been found to contain unacceptable symbols.

just wait for the bhuddist backlash as their sacrid symbols are purged from the world.

edit as beer capacity increases spelling capacity reduces (feck it I cant be bothered to change the spelling)

There's a buddhist working in out local chipper. I went down for a burger and he made me one with everything...

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Handed him a tenner to pay for it, and when I asked for change, he refused because "change has to come from within"
