Does anyone have EDGE up and running on Meteor?

I've entered the settings: isp.mymeteor.ie
my
isp

I've rang customer care and ISP is enabled on my account.

But I still can't use EDGE....any ideas?

Hi lads,
Can I ask which is the better bootloader version to have 3.9 or 4.6 and why is this? No one seems to have asked it on here.

I have a 1.0.2 OTB iPhone (I assume it is 3.9 Bootloader?) I unlocked way back in September. Have been a bit scared to update it but is my only option now to virginize and update to any version after that?

Since upgrading to 1.1.4 I'm having the international caller ID problem again.

I remember there was a quick fix for this....can someone point me in the right direction?

Download App Support v1.1.3 (think that version is right).

I'm on O2 prepay and did a restore last week.. have checked my account and there's no unusual texts to 9011 after it or around that time.

does anyone of a fix for the world clock? the one on my iphone is 10 hours fast! there doesnt seem to be any way of resetting it. thanks.

Setting/General/Date&time

Set automatic set to off then manually adjust the time

Your phone is 3.9 and you cant at this stage change it

If you used anysim or iunlock to unlock it virginize the baseband then upgrade to 1.1.3 or restore to 1.1.4

Then use Ziphone to activate jailbreak and unlock

Whatever the latest version of ZiPhone was last Wednesday night.. probably was 2.4 (as v2.5 was released last Friday).

hi cd, I had tried that already. It still is ten hours ahead. I'm not too bothered I just thought someone may have come accross it already. Also I've noticed when I recieve a text that the sent times are hours out.

I wonder if blueross67 used 2.5? Maybe its something in that??? I used 2.5 to jailbreak & activate and then 2.4 to unlock.... My brother's iphone is still on 1.02 and he wants to update but how exactly does he virginize it? Once virginized will he still be able to turn it on and get it into restore mode for the next stage?

Also, in itunes when you click restore does it automatically download the latest firmare or do we have to do that seperately using the shifty key method?

My iphone is on 1.1.1 and am still debating whether I need to upgrade to 1.1.4, is it risky? I assume I'm on the 3.9BL already (does this mean the google maps "locate me" feature wont work?). My modem firmware is 04.01.13_G is this normal for 1.1.1?

Hi lads. I used ziphone 2.5 first one out to jailbreak unlock and activate.As for what's causing it I don't know it has to be a dialler bug somewhere if its not network issues

Does anyone know how to fix the sms issue with software unlocked 1.1.2 (bsd subsystem + geohot method). A friend of mine successfully unlocked his iphone but when he goes into read SMSs it wont let him see them.

Installer wont let him install iworld or isim, he tried to clear the queue and reboot the phone etc.

Problem now solved. Heres what I did: go in to Iclarified from installer and install appsupport patch 1.1.2 and reboot. It works perfectly now. Hope this helps someone else.

just ordered my iphone (software unlocked to 1.1.4) off ebay. including shipping it came to just under €400 (8GB version) so i'm as happy as larry. especially after unlocking my friends' fiancees iphone over the phone without ever using one... couldn't be more exciting about getting one myself.

I've rang customer care and have been provisioned for ISP internet access, but I still can't connect.

Any ideas??

The clasp on my bloody iphone case:mad: dug into the glass where you listen and cracked it when it was in my pocket....big crack down it now:(:(
I can send it to the states if necessary but surely there is somewhere here that I can get it done...any ideas???
I know you can get do it yourself kits but I dont trust myself to di it properly.....
Help Me....im soooo gutted!!!:(

That's rough Stef.. getting concerned about my iPhone case now! :eek:

Maybe give the guys at PhonesOnline or **** a shout. If they don't do it yet, I'd imagine they will soon after the iPhone hits the Irish market tomorrow week.

Ya I kinda get that, but there is a huge price difference between them online. Also the difference with the iphone is that this has a hefty contract attached in some cases which brings up the price.
