Can you see what baseband you have it probably is blank


I presume Itunes can see the phone try to restore the phone to 1.1.4

Then if that is successful use Independence to activate jailbreak it

Then hopefully you should be back check see what baseband you have it should be 04.04.05

If wifi is back etc then use independence to unlock that will put your baseband back to 04.02.13 and everything should be fine

Its another way of activating jailbreaking and unlocking the iphone its a bit more complicated that Ziphone but is safer than Ziphone as it was written by someone who checks his code after he writes it and before he releases it.


Ziphone is dangerous the way it is written the current version does not unlock 4.6 bootloader phones unless they downgrade the bootloader which is far from a good idea.

If you have a mac then this is a better way to go but you will need wifi as well

If you dont want to do it that way just use Ziphone 2.5 to jailbreak and activate and then use Independence to unlock instead of Ziphone 2.4 that way you will get installer without having to go to wifi and ssh

Restore to 1.1.4

remove the stealthsim leave the meteor sim in

if you have independence then you can do that however independence does not install the installer app for you
You can install it later .

Ok Ziphone wiped your baseband and did not replace it that is the problem restoring should write a new baseband for you hopefully if you jailbreak and activate the phone after the restore then you can check and see if you have a baseband

If not try an update to 1.1.4 and check it again

When you have a baseband then unlock it with independence
