Yeah, worked fine using ZiPhone on Windows.

My iPhone must really dislike my Mac! :D

Tried to install the 'AppSupport' fix for phone number formats. And it said to install the BSD Subsystem.

Although when I try to install BSD Subsystem, it tells me 'You must install the BSD Subsystem package from Installer first'

    Hmmmm.... anyone?

EDIT: Never mind.. unaware I had stuff relying on the 'BSD Subsystem' in my queue! :D

EDIT 2: Just saw the 'Notice' after installing BSD Subsystem - "Do not use password on 1.1.3. It is currently broken and will make Springboard crash continuously". Why didn't I notice that first time round!? :D

hi, gonna head up to an 02 shop in Newry today and get a 16gb iphone - gonna unlock it to use with my 02 sim card down here

Now heres the questions, lets say something breaks on the phone - how would the warranty work?, would i just 'virginise' the software on the iphone and bring it back to the shop with my receipt and ask it to be fixed/get a replacement?

iPhone will be available to all new O2 Pay monthly Customers who meet our eligibility criteria.

To guarantee availability of iPhone, you can place a pre-order at any O2 Store between 28th February and 13th March. You will need to pay a deposit of €100, provide proof of identity and provide proof of residence.

completely agree, however if you were to say, buy it online and forget;) to activate it , would you still be able to unlock it using ziphone?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 216 ✭✭amandac

    * Unused inclusive minutes and texts cannot be carried over to the following month
** Data use in excess of the 1GB allowance will be charged at 2c per MB excluding roaming
*** Visual voicemail is not currently supported

they hav'nt even got the bloody visual voicemail, wtf , why would anyone actually buy this over one you can unlock yourself?????????

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,680 ✭✭✭Skyuser

Not unlimitied data? That was the only thing that would make me move from my PAYG iphone, cause I use the internet on it so much. Thats stupid.
