    As mentioned, if you registered an account on vcpoker.ie and played in any of the Boards League cash buy-in events prior to Feb. 13/08, your account will have already been credited with a free token affording direct entry into the Irish Open Freeroll. There is no need for a password to enter.

    VC: Can you give us some info about the scheduled date for the final, the format, and the payout structure. I've a slight chance of hanging on for a spot in it, and I'd like to know when its on etc, so I'll be available to knock Ken out!

    Hi guys,

    Just a quick post to let you know that the Leaderboards are up to date with this week's results and things are certainly getting down to the nitty gritty. In regards to the final tournament date and payout, payout is per our standard structure for a tournament this size with $200 to third, $300 to second and $500 to first with an additional $500 bounty paid to the player knocking out Ken Doherty. In the event of Ken losing all of his chips to more than one player i.e. a split pot, the winning player with the most chips at the start of the hand in question will win the bounty cash prize. We're working to confirm the date with Ken's schedule now and he's very much looking forward to playing and chatting with you all.

    Don't forget as well that a mere 6 days remain for those still looking to register in our Irish Open Freeroll for a shot at the big money there.

    Enjoyed the tourney tonight. Thought that it was a good standard and there were only two people knocked out in the first 100 minutes or so :eek:
    Shortstack play from the others remaining with me at the end was excellent.
    Apologies to Tiernaboul (Shuffles?) for my "ffs" outburst at the end.
    Looking forward to the finale with Ken.

    The ff's was very appropriate, complete suckout on the river, my apologies. Very enjoyable with everyone playing a shortstack at some stage

    Noted that you are saying that the results are up to date inclusive of last Tuesdays freeroll result on the 26th feb.

    I finished 6th on tues giving me 5 points and a total of 7, i wont be featuring in the final freeroll money but if mine was missed in the most recent tourney will others have been missed who may be featuring around the final cash?

    It was the first time i sat down to play the freeroll playing the $5 and $10 throughout and there were quite a few at the final table who had not got a clue what the tourney was all about (french speakers). Thought they had to be weeded out in the final result too.

    Just giving a heads up.
