Doesn't seem any easier to me to be honest

You would also have to find out if it keeps the jailbreaked 1.1.3 in line with the Dev teams 1.1.3JB this would be important for third party apps and future updates

sick of this iphone just gonna get rid of it, tried and tried to sort it. there's no coverage at all, i go to settings and carrier, just displays Error or Loading, never any networks

The phone must be booted normally, PAIRED with iTUNES.

Follow instructions, then put in recovery mode and wait

Also works on BL 3.9, except Unlock and IMEI Change

JB 1.1.3OTB

The commands -a -j is for activating the phone (meaning you can slide to unlock instead of only slide to emergency) and -j for jailbreak( which installs Installer.app)

When you type -a -j -u, it will activate, jailbreak, install installer, and unlock in 2.30 minutes.

Under General then About do you have
An IMEI and an ISSID number

What modem Firmware are you on

Try installing Bricktool/SignalFix from Sendowski .

Otherwise check that you have the correct baseband for 112 loaded .

ssh lets you connect to the iphone over wifi

Hey Guys
HELP!!

I was trying to update from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 last night via installer.

Followed all the steps on iClarified, and after it was downloading the update from installer, now its stuck on the apple logo, like when you switch it on. It wont go any further, i've reset and all, and nothing.

iTunes wont even detect it!

Agghh!

Anyone got any ideas?

try connect usb cable, then try power down and boot up in recovery mode. i.e. hold home buttin and press power on till connect to itunes logo appears

quick update.

running 1.1.3 jailbroken and unlocked 100% everything working as it should be even locate me in google maps on meteor.

Process
1.1.1 -> oktoprep -> 1.1.2 -> BSD subsys -> iClarified soft update -> iClarified Geohot Unlock.

Previously on 1.1.3 the appsupport fix for the phone # to name fix never worked but strangely enough it worked this time.

Only thing i cant get to work is OpenSSH. Im gonna try and fix it now.

For the appsupport fix I used iPhoneBrowser to transfer the files.

personally I would advise anyone without a fully unlocked phone to follow this:

Download ziphone: http://files.filefront.com/ZiPhonezip/;9615637;/fileinfo.html (extracting folder to C;\)

Restore your phone to 1.1.3 on itunes -> Put phone in restore mode ->

Close ALL of itunes (with ctrl+del) ->

open command prompt -> cd c:\ziphone ->type ziphone (shows dir)

(from here you can see the options that you can do with 4.6 BL)

In cmd I typed these option

c:\ziphone: ziphone -a -j -u
Wait 2'30 mins

And within 3 minutes my phone turned itself off, was activated (-a) jailbroken (-j) and unlocked (-u) all to 1.1.3, personally i didnt mind having to reinstall apps and so on just took a few mins as I knew what i needed. Now a fully functioning 1.1.3 iPhone

its well worth the update to 1.1.3 imo

Has anyone got a source for the 1.1.3 app size fix "Running out of space" ( I saw one using SSH/Putty/Winscp) last night but i messed it up and restored phone and unlocked again, really didnt get it

Prefer a source in installer + soft fix it.

Did you lose any of your contacts etc. when you used Ziphone. I have a 1.0.2 iPhone, never been updated since I got it back in September. Can I use this app on it once I upgrade to 1.1.3.? Maybe I don't have the correct bootloader?

Same thing happend me yesterday, so last night i restored back to 1.1.1
Activated and jailbroke it, upgraded to 1.1.2 and jailbroke that too. happy days.

Then i installed the openBSD tool.

Then i installed that BootTool thing to clear up space, moved my fonts and ringtones from 1.1.2 into the larger partition,

Then i ran the soft update from iClarified, which worked after a few hours.
So now on 1.1.3 and jailbroken... locate me working on wifi in the office..!

BUT TO UNLOCK IT
So instead of making the same mistake as i did yesterday, i ssh'd into my iphone to check i had enough space for the GeoHot unlock and i still dont have enough space.. ive got about 12kb free after the 1.1.3 upgrade

So i wouldnt even have enough room to install BootTool again, how can i clear enough space to run the GeoHot unlock??? Im stumped.

I lost them yes when I restored and then used ziphone, but then when you open itunes to add music and so on, you can set your phone to either a new name or your old name, which "semi restores" your old contacts back, so yes, you lose them, but itunes can put them back in, providing you synch.

I recieved ALOT of pm's about the ziphone, I should add I had a week 47 1.1.2otb phone.

I'm not 100% on bootloaders, check out www.hackint0sh.org , weed through the threads to be safe.

add insialler.iclarified.com to the installer and both of them are under iClarified in the install section

Nothin in my installer will work....had that problem since I fully unlocked to 1.1.2.

If you have ssh then you can access the files and folders on the phone also means you can replace the installer app

could anyone tell me why i only have iworld on my 1.1.2 tweaks......there are loads on 1.1.1 and 1.1.3 and i thought i should have a lot more than that....thanks guys
