Is Joey Barton the biggest tinker going at the minute? He's after getting away with wrestling Shaun Moloney to the ground and producing a save that Shay Given would have been proud of, and to top it all off he tried to dismember Ashleys Youngs legs with what Mr Gray termed a "strong challenge". There's only one word for him, it begins with "K" and ends with "acker".

yes, if there was a team of 11 hated men(hint, please start thread!) in the premiership, he would be captain. him and michael ball, great pillars of society they are.

Smith has become such a poor player. He used to be quite useful at Man Utd

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

United made him a terrible player. He wasn't good enough up front for United, so he was shifted back to midfield where he could do a job. Wasn't good enough there either so :)

I think if he gets played as a striker again for a while, he'll get back to his old standards.

    3-1 Villa, courtesy of Carew.

    Comical defending.

    Villa 3-1 Capitulation United

Some comical defending, especially for Carew's second.

Edit: lol, what the hell is Stephen Carr thinking. 4-1 Villa, Carew hat-trick.

Villa peno, Carew for the hatrick!

It's not that I'm enjoying it, I dunno...I don't like to see managers treated unfairly...Newcastle for the drop?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

I'm hopeful that Newcastle go down, just cause I hate when owners are stupid towards managers, I think it was totally unfair on big sam.

Either way, Villa look a great team. MON is getting them playing extremely well.

we play well maybe 25% of the time, max

and we only play well against teams who cant defend

I can't understand some of the criticisms of MON. I know he's not the most lively in the transfer market, but how can you argue with the season so far?
