Melion is very active with the goal alerts today - me thinks the Tevez one hurt him a bit though ;)

Well Spurs look good on the counter attack. We look a little bit off the pace, but all the same, we look we could score a few more if we just up it a little bit. Fantastic save by VDS at the end of the half there. Some of the Ronaldo - Rooney - Tevez interplay is a joy to behold.

gigs seems to have upped his game abit today hope we see scholes in the second half

Brown's positional sense is diabolical! Hargreaves playing very well breaking down Spurs' attacks and apart from a couple of wayward passes, Carrick is playing alright. Wtf is up with Evra's control today? Pitch looks fairly bobbly aswell.

Hopefully we can up the tempo in the second half and get at this makeshift Spurs' defence.

Those little scousers and their wacky sense of humour!

By the way, Evra now misses the derby due to suspension

    3-1, another goal for Ronaldo.

Spurs would really want to do something about their goalkeeping coach!:p

    I'd say Paul Robinson's happy anyway!:D

BBC commentator just said thats Ronaldo's 14th brace for United. The lad has an unbelievable strike rate. Hargreaves MOTM for me.

    FT 3-1

Have to say a bit worried about Brown in the center , Think Spur's front two will give us a few problems, but think we can go throught looking forward to a good game maybe 3-1 to United (egg on face time :D )

And for my next trick :D:D:D

You just know Berbatov was thinking towards the end - "Christ, I cant wait to play with this lot next season" :)

2 tough ties now over. I would like a championship side in the 5th round please.

Anderson should play every game, I'm that excited about him.

Would it not be the Spurs game next weekend rather than city the following weekend as we play Portsmounth on wednesday night, live on Sky by the way

Edit: if a player get 5 yellows then you miss the game which comes after 2 weeks, if the city game was on the saturday he would have been ok.

Now I see why its the city game...

Good 2nd half from United though Spurs had a few chances.Great to see Scholes back who, in the event of injury could play up front.

I think it would be more likely that Scholes would take Andersons position, and Anderson be moved up front.

I bet Paul Robinson is happier than we are! Wooo 3-1, my prediction was right! City are 2-0 down to Sheff Utd

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,825 ✭✭✭Mikeyt086

Great win, another poor 2 goal game by Ronaldo :D Hargreaves won so much ball today and Carrick was good.

Cant wait for the draw tomorrow, but given our luck in these draws i just know we ar going to get Chelsea/Arsenal/Liverpool. But we can always hope for Bristol Rovers at home eh?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,147 ✭✭✭Unearthly

Well if City score stays the same, that just leaves 6 premiership teams. I calculate it out to be 1 in 3 chance of us getting another prem team.

    Yes i'm bored

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,825 ✭✭✭Mikeyt086

Again, given our FA cup draw history, 1 in 3 chance is more than enough.

I predicted right, I'm happy then so. MOTM Hargreaves for me, who are the other 2 Premiership teams apart from the big 4?

Jazzy i would have gone for a more suitable nickname like:

Dirk "Puppy" Kuyt, or Dirk "Piglet" Kuyt really :p

i guess with that big yellow head of his he does look like Scorpion from Mortal Kombat but other than that i cant see where the nick came from.

    :D

    Pompey and Boro

Looks like the trend of the big 4 winning it continues.
