Hi Cd, The phone itself won't let u go any further because I don't have the AT&T sim that came with it. When i dial *#307# it wont ring coz there's no original sim in.

have you put the sim in with your Xsim

If you really cant get past it I'm sure i have an att sim here

Yea, had both sims inserted. I also did what someone else said earlier and tried both sims in my old phone but it doesn't recognize it. So I'm thiking of just goin into Limk 2morro & getting a phone shop to do it for me - he quoted me €100, and its a bummer coz i paid €80 for the simfreer.

Thanks for the offer of at&t sim, ill c how i go with this guy 2morro & if not i might take u up on ur offer.

And there are too many apps that don't work and the phone number thing is the last straw

Maybe in a few weeks it will be supported better or the official dev team release might be better

If you install navicon gps use it once it will make google locate work temp also same goes with locateme.Hasnt locked up yet on me.I am going to give it a until sunday.

Tried both of them and no joy the locateme me would not work at all and navicon could not find any cell towers it recognised

Finished downgrading back to 1.1.2 and everything is good

No, I sent away for the sim freer myself but I'm just makin a bags of the whole thing and just want it to work so I rang a phone repair shop in Limk - Thomas St, i think? across from Aubars and he said he'd be able to do it for me at a cost of €100.

I bought my phone in USA a few weeks ago, it's a 1.1.2 and i did allthe jailbreaking and d/grading to 1.1.1 but when i got the new simfreer & put it in it wouldnt work so i read somewhere about installing sim unlock and that screwed up everything i did now im back to square one BUT i threw away the at&t sim that came with the phone and i can't re-do all I did b4 to jailbreak it and restore it to 1.1.1 :mad:

Ive had the phone now for 3 weeks and am so exasperated!

I've an AT&T card and in Limerick area if you want to borrow...pm me if interested...€100 seems to be a hell of a lot...mindd you I#ve thrown away €89 worth of a stealthsim today (see previous posts)

The thing is, i've tried putting em both into my old phone but it wouldn't recognize that i had a sim in, so i'm thinkin that the new sim i got is the problem.

Im just so confused. How is this guy in the shop going to unlock my iphone? Does anyone know what they do? He didn't say anything about a 'stealth sim' etc.

well if you're phone is 1.1.2 or above he can't use anything but a *sim solution, whether it be stealth/turbo/etc.

Went back to 1.1.1 then used ibrickr to correct the 1015 error then jailbreak with [SIZE=-1]*#307# if your baseband is 04.01.13 you can stop there if it is 04.02.13 then OKtoprep and update to 1.1.2

When you say it is not work what do you mean.

Are you getting a 1604 error

No, Cd, I dont know anything about that? Can I do that? I can't restore it evento 1.1.1 now because I have to have the at&t sim in to do that.

The stealthsim pretends to be an AT&T sim to fool the iphone this is specifically for the iphone sticking it into a phone that is not locked to AT&T will not do anything

If you want to check your sim just put it in on its own to the other phone

Have you tried to put it into DFU mode once you have it in DFU the sim should not matter and you should be able to restore back to 1.1.1

I've read somewhere that the otb 1.1.2 running 4.6 bootloader cannot be unlocked. How do I know if mine is 4.6?

How do i put it into DFU mode? Hell I'll try anything!

Unlocking and jailbreaking are two completely different things you are trying to jailbreak you will use the Xsim to "unlock" the phone

DFU is recovery mode hold power and home till screen goes black then let go of power keep holding home and plug the phone into the PC let go of the home button and itunes will say recovery mode blah blah must be restored

Iv got "Activate iPhone' connect to iTunes screen, & NO SIM CARD INSTALLED, insert an unlocked and valid SIM to activate iphone.

It just wont let me do ANYTHING without the sim.

Just having the same problem as Higster a couple of pages back. US phone 112 out of the box. Restored to 111, jailbreaked, oktoprepped, 112, jailbreaked, put in my stealth sim that was delivered today and am getting Invalid sim
Help please

I'm having the same problem with my stealth sim, same error messages. Mine is a 1.1.2 US I'phone and it just wont work!

I'm going to contact dan on unlockthatiphone to see if he has any solutions. Its just not working!

This stealthsim saga has been a very lengthy, expensive and unsuccessful one for a few of us at least. Hopefully unlockthatiphone will come good and sort things out.

At least we're trying to sort it out with an irish company which has to be easier than sorting it out with a foreign company.

I think ours wont work because its a 1.1.2 with bootloader 4.6 because everywhere i've read it says this can't be unlocked yet.

I have a Stealth Sim here may i add took my 25 min to actually get the stealth sim with the sim, 4 times it said no sim, once said invalid sim i kept trying and then it works so its the alignment issue make sure you cut the bit big enough for the Stealth to fit in properly.
