I keep getting "Error Sending Message" everytime I try to send a txt... Was working fine until about an hour ago....

Anyone any ideas??? I can make calls and reveive txts n calls...

I had the same problem and googled it. It turns out it's something to do with the message centre

type *5005*7672*(message centre number)# into the phone pad

and it should work

There could also be a problem with the sim card so you may want to get the sim card replaced. Who's your network with ?

PLEASE HELP!! Jeez I was going grand, I bought a 1.1.2 phone in USA last week. Managed to jailbreak it to 1.1.1 I then bought a simfreer and managed to install it after cutting off the corner etc. Managed again to upgrade to 1.1.2 but in all my reading up of how to unlock the iphone i saw somewhere about 'how to un-lock the sim lock - I thought u had to do this AFTER you put in the sim with the stealth (or turbo or simfreer whatever it's called). So I proceded to go to installer and type in http://i.lock.no' etc. and d/loaded Any-sim' and now I have NOTHING!! except a black screen with the 'apple' logo.

Damn, I was so close! WHAT CAN I DO NOW???? PLESE HELP

I also have been waiting since Dec 27th and come home every day expecting the Stealthsim to have arrived. It really isn't good enough, no correspondance or tracking no from unlock. All I want is to have a working iphone as do the other posters. At €90, its hard to see how its a good purchase after all this messing around.

There is no Jailbreak Method available for 1.1.3 yet so no possible yet.

dan, I ordered and paid with ccnow on the 27th, I got an email on the 16th of jan to say that there was a problem with ccnow and I would be refunded and I could reorder and pay with paypall which I did!! Still no stealthsim.

meteor... Still not working. The odd time after trying to send txts it says there's no sim in it... Turning it on n off sorts that out...

Make sure the sim and the sim adaptor are aligned properly

make sure you did not cut too much from sim card and your sim card is not able to move.

Restore back to 1.1.1 and start again

cdebru, just got my iphonesimfreer sim today, any tips on cutting simcard before i butcher it?

also, has anyone used a drop of adhesive or anything to hold them together?

also, one last Q! whats the best(least chance of damage) way of ejecting current sim from iphone? paperclip? other method?

For anybody out there that does'nt understand or want to know about unlocking the iphone, I bouight one in the states about 2 months ago ,brought it into a shop in lower georges st and the chinese guy unlocked it in a couple of hours , it is now sim free and no problems cost €70 euro, might be of help to someone .......

Checked the sim n realigned it, still not working... I'm still getting txts n calls etc I just cant send txts...

I tried the *5005*etc n I get

It still doesnt work...

Go here
Scroll down a little until you see the error message your getting... or just ctrl+f (search page) and type Error 1015 and search... follow the steps from there.

hey guys, not sure if im in the right place or not to ask about the touch, but this has been driving me nuts.
I bought an Ipod touch, and have managed to downgrade it and jailbreak it. Now the instructions im following also show how to upgrade back up to version 1.1.2 (which is what it came with). the problem is that the instructions assume that is the latest version, which obviously it is not.
So, Since I dont want to download the 1.1.3 firmware, where can I manually download the 1.1.2 firmware??? I can't see to find it anywhere... think im losing my mind!!!

EDIT: disregard, I found a helpfile with it linked. thanks anyway.

Thats exactly what you should get after restoring to 1.1.1 use ibrickr to get it out of that mode

Just exit out of itunes and start ibrickr then click on reboot phone screen should go red then the phone will reboot and then you can jailbreak it using the 307 wifi method

Line them up and then mark the card with a pen cut the piece out dont cut a big lump out that will allow the simfreer to move around

I have never used any tape glue would be a bad idea

Paperclip is fine or i use a very small screwdriver ( jewellers)

Can you try a different sim just to see if it is only related to that sim

You had already done it you just ****ed up by using anysim just do it again and don't do the anysim thing and you will be fine
