    Actually correction it is a new hardware unlock for 1.1.2 which downgrades the bootloader to 3.9 effectively making it a 1.1.1 OTB iphone

    Yeah a member of the iphone team broke 2 phones out a 5 trying to do it and he knows his stuff lol.

    They have the 1.1.3 secpack extracted as well which increases the chances of getting a software unlock for 1.1.2 OTB. We should know fairly soon whether or not the exploit they mentioned that would require this secpack will work.

    Great quality. The converted file is almost 500mb larger than the original one, which surprised me! I guess that's how it holds onto the quality. I could probs mess around with the settings actually, and reduce the quality and therefore the size somewhat.

    Will be fairly handy on the bus, etc :) Makes my Cowon A2 sorta obsolete! lol. Well, if the iPhone had a larger capacity ;)

    the apple iphone and itouch, is the only real difference making calls and texts with the phone, or is there other differences as well.:confused:

    Hey i have moved over to a macbook and i found a program called iphonedrive basicly lets you copy files/mp3 fromyour iphone but i am to cheap to pay :) anyone know any good programs out there all the ones i have found have been pants.

    aside from wifi...whats the cheapest way to access the internet on your Iphone...vodafone are charging2cent per kb for the first 512kb and then 1/2 cent per kb after that

    Tesco mobile have a data package i think

    €3.99 for 7 days upto 20mb you would not want to be using it much ok for checking emails

    Hard to say if you are happy with 3 and use features like video calling then you will not be able to do that with an iphone

    With the touch you can get 16GB so if the extra space is important to you

    Rumours of a 3G iphone later this year if you are not in a hurry maybe you should wait

    No no to copy my mp3's off my iphone onto the computer iphonedrive works but it pay was looking for a free one.Sorry didnt make myself clear.

    dan try ipoddisk, it's a good program for mac that allows you to browse an ipod like a folder and copy the music out. i'm not 100% sure if it works with iphones though, but it is free.

    i have the edge set up but vodafone charges arent great for using it and i dont have wifi access at work
    thought there might be some other way to get a better rate:confused:

    Hi did you try APN live.vodafone.com i don't have a vodafone card here so not sure if it works on the iphone

    If it does then that should be covered on the 9.99 a month

    anyone know how i can find the local IP address of my iphone connected to my wireless network. i need to ssh into my iphone.

    you think a third year CS student would know wouldn't ya? i've mac/pc so any solution shall do.

    Wifi

    Tap the circle with arrow after your wifi network name and there it is

    on engadget.com its reported that the unlock for the 1.1.2 bootloader is to be broken and posted in the next 3 days.
