Similar thing happened to me a few years back. Walking into town from work with a mate via the Royal Cannel during the summer when three little scrotes, about 15 or 16, walked by us sniggering. Thought nothing of it until an egg cracked off my back, we turned around and my mate got hit too, so we gave chase. Didn't expect to catch them until one of them fell and his mates left him behind, so we grabbed him, shoved him to the ground started screaming and shouting at him, going nuts when he started crying. My mate wanted to beat the **** out of him, but instead I just told the little ****er to give me his runners and socks. He was nearly wetting himself, so took them off, handed them to me and I just lobbed them into the cannal. This started him balling his eyes out and we left him to it, laughing our heads off.

Meah Tallaght aint that bad, the older parts of tallaght has their fair share of decent ppl, similar to athlone actually, lots of nackers gets a bad name but not too bad - i have a couple of friends in Tallaght and hold down pretty decent jobs

Thing is that Tallaght is bigger than Limerick, so there is going to be alot of.. well nackers in any big area like that..

I make joke about it and a few guys get offended.

Had a similar incident with teens at connelly station,a group of teens grabbing each other, then swinning around and letting go and hopping off people. They left an old man in his 70's on his ass. The security guard just stood there looking till they hit my missus and I had one of them by the throat. as soon as i did that security get onto me. Useless bstds

How many people here have thrown eggs at either each other or a car? One Halloween, when we were younger, my brothers egged passing cars from our garden. We were young and it was the perfect hiding place. I remember buying the eggs and the shop-keeper saying, "you're not going to throw these, are you?"

On topic, that sucks. If somebody threw an egg at me, I'd sprint after them.

And therein lies the problem; there parents tend to hold the same view of you're supposed to just ignore them even if they're commiting vandalism, theft, assault, etc.... If you dare try respond their parents are suddenly up in arms that you'd dare treat the little ****s like they treat everyone else.

I vote that human & legal rights be made void below the age of 18.:D

A friend of mine was walking through UCD, when some scobes tried to egg him from their car, missing him and hitting the pavement. It was the same guys, who had succesfully egged us a week previously.

So, my friend, picked up a rock and threw it at the car, smashing the rear light.

He ran like hell afterwards, but it's always good to see some justice.
