    Quick Basic Question ...

    I have just picked up an iPhone in the states and ordered a Stealth Sim from iPhone Hellas. When I get the Stealth Sim do I need to do both Jailbreak and apply the Stealth Sim or can I just apply the Stealth Sim? What applications does Jailbreak give you access to? - Thanks

    I wouldn't write it off just yet saying its a scam because an email address does not exist seems a little flimsy
    the site says he won't deliver the unlock for 36 hours which could be part of a scam or could be because once it is out it will be all over the net and he won't sell anymore.

    Probably Is a scam but a very badly organized one using paypal for a scam seems very odd bit you never know as I said DONT buy just wait and see when ipsf came out originally people cried scam as well so you never know

    you have to jailbreak and access to loads of apps

    seems u have to do both .. did u pay $100 for the stealth sim ?

    Does anyone have the iphone setting for MMS for meteor PLEASE

    i tried doing it thorugh the web site and entered the nokia n95 but it just sends me blank messages..... i rang them [meteor] and they said i had to go into town to the apple shop.

    Does anybody here have 1.1.2 in Ireland with a turbosim? How do you find it, is there anything that doesn't work that's really annoying?

    Have 1.1.2 on Vodafone (not using TurboSIM though) and it works fine, the fix for short msgs (e.g. voice mail notifications from 171) is great, plus used the iWorld app to set Ireland so no problems what so ever, used it every day

    My iPhone was originally 1.0.2, then I updated to 1.1.1 and then updated to 1.1.2

    This is possible, currently unlocking out of the box 1.1.2's is not due to new bootloader

    Great :D Think I might get a 1.1.2 i phone brought back from the states for me. If an unlock comes out so be it, if not sealth sim it is!

    Locked or unlocked, jailbroken or sealed little virgins. May you make your new, image-concious, cool dude owners delighted for Christmas and for many, many years to come (or, at least until Iphone 2.0).

    I think it's really unfair powerhousedan was given no warning (even through pm) that he was about to be banned.Powerhouse was excellent on this forum- always answering peoples questions etc. The mod who banned him has dissappeared off boards since then and no one can un-ban him until he returns.

    OK folks - it is the dumb newbie back again.

    iPhone bought in CPW in Belfast 1.1.2 bt 4.6
    Discovered that my ever reliable iBook (10.3.9) wont recognise iPhone as I need 10.4.9 or higher (that means me having to fork out for new software!)
    Bought the stealth sim from iphonehellas - ordered it Thursday, it arrived this morning (Xmas Eve!!)
    Am sitting looking at my iphone in a box and a stealth sim but don't have the software to downgrade, jailbreak and activate! VERY frustrating.

    My question is - I could do the whole activation, jailbreaking etc at my computer at work but am not sure about wifi. How crucial is it? I may be able to piggy back on the wifi of a guy in the next building but not sure how to do that.

    I'm sure everyone on this forum knows how absolutely frustrating it is to have a beautiful iPhone sitting there and not being able to use it.

    HELP PLEASE - BE MY SANTA CLAUS!!!!!!!!

    Wifi is the easiest way to jailbreak when you get to1.11 it can be done with out it but it is difficult

    Paid 100 EUR for the Stealth Sim from iPhone Hellas. Could not wait for unlockthatiphone to get their shipment next year.

    Just got a pressie from the Mrs of an iPhone from the USA...little did she know that doesn't work over here...can anyone point me in the right direction to at least get to use the iTpuch features and possibly the phone features? Haven't hooked up to PC yet (have it charging currently on mains).

    ok tried to find a striaght forward answer, HELP, this is a completly noob question...just got iphone ver 1.1.2...how the hell do I get the phone to work (came from the US)? Or at least get the itpuch features to work (I'm scared outta my ****e to hook up to the pc)...

    you need to jailbreak it and then wait for a software unlock or buy a stealthsim or similar

    go to hackint0sh.org or hacktheiphone.com and follow the tutorials on how to jailbreak

    You need itunes and 1.1.1 firmware and ibrickr a wifi connection and the jailbreak for 1.1.2

    Ignore any references to anysim they do not apply to you

    yeah they sell the stealthsim as well

    I don't know what their guides are like but basically u downgrade to 1.11 then use ibrickr to get you past the 1015 error then reconnect to iTunes till it recognisestje phone then disconnect then jailbreak using wifi then run oktoprep then update to 1.1.2 then jailbreak again

    I want to buy an Iphone, I've seen unlocked ones on Ebay with good feedback. They are version 1.1, what else will I have to do if I was to buy one online or should I buy a iphone next week when I'm in the States? Thanks & happy xmas
