Neither is Sligo, but I took is as a compliment that we don't have an accent that stands out too much!

OP: there's something wrong with your ears if you think one accent covers all of the northside (or southside).

    Poll reported.

For attractiveness I'm not really a fan of any of them tbh. Maybe Galway.

    Otherwise Belfast.

    Galway has an accent?

What about "none of the above" option

OP. Haha, great poll. You forget "Irish-American" and "Drunken Paddy working on a London building-site in the 70's." options.

    Knacker Dublin AKA northside
    Yuppie Dub AKA Southside

I take it you are not from Dublin then eh? Those are the only options? *shakes head.

We did this before, the poll was better then.

    This is for you.

Knacker Dub is the regular Dub from. Doesn't mean they're knackers, just that they sound like a bit like the knacker Dub.

With 20 options I couldn't have more than 2 for Dublin.

I take it you are from Dublin. If not, now is your chance to say.....no I'm not in fact from Dublin I'm from Wicklow or Kildare or whatever.

The Limerick accent is hugely entertaining. Not all Limerick accent-havers are skobes either.

I'd like to second this (being from Limerick). The Limerick accent does not limit itself to just scobie-type folks; it's a generic accent around the city embracing everyone from working class to yobs.

I, however, do not have one due to the fact that both my folks are Cork-expats and I was raised outside the city and went to a national school for my formative years of Junior and senior infants in the countryside before relocating en ville. Thus I avoided such impressible requests as 'can i go ta da tai-leeehhhht?' and playground slags including, 'swartagot he's some gowl'

Anyway. The point is that the Donegal accent rocks

Galway does have an accent and its a pretty strong one too.The reason you don't hear it much is because their are sweet fvck all Galweigians living in Galway.

Poll edited slightly. So much wrong with it (Example: "cork" accent? Like there's only one), but I won't go further. I'm far too lazy.

    Loev n kisses,
    Karo, from da Northside.
