So, we are looking for a new mod for the AH forum.

Post up if you are interested in doing it, and what your qualifications are

I thought you couldn't be a mod if you expressed any interest in it? Happily I'm not interested, but in a hypothetical way lets imagine if I was interested.

I would rule these cowering masses with an iron fist, brook no objection to the sacred scriptures of the charter or boards policy, and burn all the heretics.. er scratch that last one. My reign would be a glorious era of enlightenment and contentment, with free TVs and pudding for all. Across the tubes, the word "boards" shall be whispered with awe and reverence, not in the same sentence as the clearing of phlegm.

And in no way in this hypothetical universe would I be applying for the job just to skive off and get free access to s&s.

Its also worth pointing out that I saw most if not all of the people who are going to post in this thread at a "We Hate Mustard / We Beat Puppies" rally the last day, which I was trying to sabotage. Just throwing that out there.

I think you should pick me. Heres why:

- I can program c++ and i can design/edit websites.

- I have previous Moding experience on the F365 forum.

- My ballz are huge.

- Ive only been banned from here once, still banned from personal issues.

- I have a vast collection of porn which im willing to share.

- Im completely open minded and wouldn't delete posts/ban unless they were strictly breaking the rules

All posts beginning with To xxxx or not to xxxx will be edited to be more amusing to all.
I have no specific qualifications, but bearing in mind the random nature of stuff that people post here that should be a bonus.

I assume there will be some form of fringe benefits.

Muffins in the morning and coffee emailed to me on the hour?

Seriously though, I think he'd be firm but fair, like you have to be with children/AH users! (I include myself amongst this!)

I'll throw my name in! I do precious little with my life, and so have an abundance of free time, which I idle away on boards

AH is my forum of choice and I feel an affinity with the indiginous AHers. Their peculiar ways both interest and inspire me in my day-to-day life. I feel I've learned alot from them, and, through my leadership, I feel it is time I gave a little something back to them.

As a newly appointed moderator, I have come to appreciate the gargantuan task which my fellow moderators have had to endure for so long. As the teetotal members of the Non-Drinking Club will tell you, I rule my forum through a careful balance of fear, intimidation, and sexual favours. I am unflinching in my desire for order and stability, and, though I have yet to ban anyone (this in itself is a testiment to the respect which the non-drinkers hold for me), if anyone steps out of line (eg. has a sip of some sherry over Christmas), I will have no trouble in banishing them. I am tough but I am fair. Everyone knows the deal when they enter the Realm of Dave.

If I am elected moderator of After Hours, you can expect much of the same. Oppression, intimidation, draconian punishments (incl. death), etc., etc., etc.

I look forward to crushing you all.

Nothing to do with size but how you use them ? It must take something special to be an AH Mod, perhaps insomniac, alcoholic etc etc might help?
