Have to say, I've met some great people on this site and am quite happy to go drinking with them on a fairly regular basis.
I've even had one or two over to the gaf, though am thinking that might have been a big mistake

I mainly only post in the Soccer forum and it's rarely friendly in there anyway

I didn't get any friends when I signed up to boards, was it a special offer at the time. They're probably lost in the post, they'd be dead by now I suppose. Hope I don't get a box of dead bodies showing up at my door.

met a few people, a few guys are in my class and about DCU. thats aboot it. mainly from the body mod forum cos thats where i live. plan to meet more people at the chrimbo partay

None... although there's a lot of people on here I'd love to go for a drink and a laugh with. I really should go to a beers someday, but it just seems a bit weird.
However, I've met a few boards when selling / buying tickets when the old 'for sale' section was up. I even met Pighead!

When i lived in dublin i used to hang out with 1 or 2 boardies and went to a few of the boards beers. Then i moved home and really havent seen anyone since!!!

Made a load of very good friends over on the photography forum. It's not many places on the internet you can post asking for a few grands worth of gear, and several people will oblige instantly

Great bunch over there.

I've also met 1 girlfriend through boards, and met a cousin I hadn't seen in years at a boards beers.

I'd say there are 4-5 additions that I'd make time for aside from those.

Why not! Only met 1 person that I keep in regular contact with. If it werent for my fear of driving any further than 5 miles in any one go, I reckon I'd see him more often!
