    Hmm... Well I have friends on boards who I knew before I joined and through boards I'd say I've made at least 5 friends who, if I had more of a chance, I'd go drinking with more of the time.

    Met one or two people thru boards, socialised and all with them.

    boards beers are the new target for meeting people :)

    Although, we are yet to actually have a proper piss up, there is one on the cards.

    Also, I've met a few lads through the soccer forum at various grounds around the country.

    One or two who I'd chat to regularly, and always meet up for pints and general merriment when out teams meet.

    i know 2 people who post on boards.ie and thats only because they sit either side of me in work.they introduced me to this magical place.

    havent really made any new friends on boards.ie but who knows, that could all change

    I've met a few boardsies in various FS/adverts.ie transactions; my two brothers post on here as do a few current or former colleagues; and a few real life friends I knew offline first. Nobody I've met from here first I'd call a "friend" though.

    I know 6 people from this thread IRL, 3 reasonably well, I go drinking with a number of Boardsies reasonably often. Even my boss is a Boardsie! Yes sir, I'll get back to work :(

    Met my fellow bandmate on boards. 'Bass Player Wanted' and Seany replied!! He is also one of my best friends now. :)

    Quite a few actually, knew some before boards, or I introduced them to boards but yeah a lot of my social circle in some way revolves around boards!
